    Pipe bombs flying everywhere!
  3. This is the kind of thinking I can get around. 193cm with good mobility and a reasonable leap. The Jack Silvagni example is a good one. People sometimes think that being a ruckman is all about physical stature and getting 65 hitouts a game but as with anything there's more to it. Some of the best 'disruptor' rucks barely get any hitouts but they negate the opposition ruck and provide something out of the box for them to contend with. Even if he was taking 10% of ballups in a match it could make a difference. Sick of seeing JVR take centre bounces and even going back a few years Ben Brown and Petracca doing ruckwork in the forward line wasn't a good look.

Noticed Lake in the injury report. Thought he just came back from the elbow injury? Good player. Helps to have a safety that plays the nickel well in that kind of defense so that doesn't help.
  5. Not a bad day you got going there DEE Fence. Bit jealous!

Definitely, especially when something that has worked really well suddenly has to change. One of those things that is more a playbook worry than a personnel one. Rams look to be getting healthy as well so I actually have them slight favourites in the week before stakes.

Good on him. Deserves another shot and sooner the better. We were lucky to have him this year.

I didn't until about a week ago either! Could offer something. Charbonnet isn't an easy void to fill at all and is such a crucial part of their scheme. Not only brilliant in the short yardage situations but he's a really good blocker in pass protection as well. His absence makes those 3rd down situations a bit trickier. Walker III is obviously no slouch and more than capable of the extra carries but it will have a massive effect on how their offense looks schematically.

Huge out. Great tandem with Walker this season. Akers might get a look in?
  10. I got absolutely nothing so I'm just gonna say hold onto your hats!
  11. This certainly would have made the grail that bit sweeter
  12. Keep going Hardtack. Would love to check out one of these gigs sometime.
  13. Any cool injuries to report? At ease boys.

Yeah I constantly scream about bad play calls and poor execution. One day someone will listen.

At first I thought DJ Moore ran the wrong route. After watching several replays it's very hard to put this on him. Williams had a very clean pocket with plenty of time, Moore was running a post with the safety coming over. He would have needed to be Usain Bolt, Speedy Gonzales and Superman to get to it. So much momentum down the drain. And I go back to critiquing Caleb Willams as I see fit.

  17. The old 'Ology days were Sunday morning boghole footy with one umpire..
  18. Do we miss Hibbo more than we care to admit? Gus was definitely a spiritual leader but we haven't had a whole lot of calm down back since Hibberd left. That semi was a selection disaster on a few levels.
  19. Did you hear about the guy who lost his left side? He was alright.

I just assume that you watch and celebrate NFL like I do. Yelling at the TV, fist pumping the air, telling imaginary people to suck it etc.

They were my pick to win it this year, I felt it was lining up nicely. They have a decent line and defense, maybe just lacked a few key separators on offense. Injuries suck.

I did actually picture you in my head celebrating when Curl picked it off and then again at the Parkinson and Nacua out route catches.

I just nicked down to the warehouse to watch what is one of the craziest things I've ever seen. I've been critical of Williams but there aren't too many who could have made that throw.

The chink in the Seattle defense for me is their ability to cover good and mobile TEs. Which meant the worst time for Kittle and Tonges to do down. Rams have some guys that can probably do this and give them problems. This front is playing so well and in Seattle is such a big ask for anyone right now.

Seems to be lining up for Seattle to make the SB and probably win
