  1. Just wish it worked out a bit better for him. Plenty of stories just like this in the league. One of the good guys, all the best Marty,
  2. It's the only constitution we've got.

Aha! Got it now. So when Nick Bosa was at training camp lifting dumbells on the sidelines in front of the girls he was holding in! Jauan Jennings strikes me as a very unselfish player but I think it has been to his detriment. Clearly wanted and deserved a new contract but didn't make a fuss. No hold out or hold in and now it's stuffed him up.

'Holding out' has been a term used forever and a day in the NFL at this time of year. A player basically doesn't take part in training camp or games until they've worked out a new contract or they get the franchise tag eg. Micah Parsons However I'm now starting to hear the term 'holding in' a lot lately. Can anyone fill me in on the meaning of this one? @Gorgoroth @Macca ? I'm guessing it means doing training camp but being unofficially disgruntled about their contract situation?
  5. I might be jaded about this game, but that doesn't mean I won't be absolutely stoked if we somehow got a win over the black and white filth. I'm just not allowing myself to dream too much. We owe them for 2017, we had hope for last year but were never in it. If that happens again it would be disappointing but not surprising, change the narrative.
  6. Horrible news. Normally I try to pump this thread up in case a journo is reading but we'll leave that be for now..
  7. I would hope he's one of the first re-appointments made.
  8. Wonder why he's in Melbourne? 😜 Time to ramp up the noise again.
  9. This is the most accurate assessment in my view. We have some reasonable but speculative young talent. Probably about the average or slightly above for most AFL lists.
  10. Bingo bango what a tango!
  11. Couldn't agree more. He's had some shockers over last two seasons but this was taking the p15s. Sometimes giving Gunston 20 metres of space. May is someone I would never accuse of this, but he legitimately looked like he didn't want to be there. His best is behind him, whether he can still be of some value to the new coach remains to be seen but he's no longer box office.
  12. Starting to move like a forward, just in time for a move down back again 😛
  13. Very true. It's just another realm to be looking into I guess. Hopefully we can still provide a better environment than what North was back then.
  14. I can't stress enough how stoked I would be to get Bruce back to the club as a midfield coach. Best appointment we'd make since Yze.
  15. Yeah I tend to agree that it's when the inaccuracy happens in a game. Hawthorn missed a lot of great chances in the first half and led 7.7 to 2.3. I did think that they could easily have been 7 or 8 goals up and then it's a different game yet again. We did miss some chances ourselves but I do think the end margin should probably have been another goal or two the way of the Hawks.
  16. I like the outside the box thinking with Daly. There's no rule saying you have to stay inside a certain box, I'd be disappointed if they weren't thinking this way.
  17. This game is stupid. Seriously can't wait for the season to be over. However I will be happy if we can at least run the Pies the way we did on King's Birthday. Turn it into a boghole for all I care, how's the weather looking for it?
  18. Just a pity that Collingwood get a bloopy to win next week. Would have been great to see them march in with even more pathetic form.
  19. -44 inside 50s -12 clearances 3 point win. Glad its not just us this happens to
  20. Bring on the trip
  21. Gunston just loves playing the Dees!
  22. Lets go to the pub
  23. Nice one jerks.
  24. This is boring
  25. The ultimate professional. Not saying that we haven't made the right choice to part ways, however I'm almost certain that down the track we will realise some of the amazing qualities we had in him that aren't here anymore. I hope like hell we will be happy with our decision, but it is by no means a low risk one.
