  1. God we are going to miss you ANB
  2. Why do so many call him 'Bullen'?
  3. We really need to trust it
  4. We did during the time Clayton was injured which was what we were talking about.
  5. Doesn't take a genius to make his comment though.
  6. The more I see Hynes the more impressed I am. If we were to miss on Lalor I reckon he'd be the cut price version. Physical, aggressive types but would add dynamism to our midfield and also forward line when up there. If we get a 15-20 pick it's going to be interesting.
  7. Welcome Tom. A backup ruck with experience that will cost us next to nothing. Think it's a smart move.
  8. I've got it but it's a bit big to post. Happy to PM
  9. I really just don't want it mentioned in media stories. Not right now anyway. If they really want to write something just say 'personal problems'. That's all that's required for now.
  10. I do, in particular the one against the Saints at Marvel. One of the stranger times to be doing hamstring rehab.
  11. Can we all just admit that the club is in a complete mess no matter which side of the fence people sit on with Clarry? There are very valid takes on this from many on here and I can see all sides. We can't lose sight of the fact that the club has had problems, handled them terribly, and the reason the club is in the damn shape it's in right now is because of bull [censored] like this.
  12. Amen to that! The ultimate rabbit hole of hyperfocus!
  13. The splinters are sore on this fence but you are both 100% correct. We really can't know what anyone goes through when they face these challenges. The unfortunate part and reality is that the human race doesn't have a 100% integrity record and people have no doubt used this to their advantage. I'm not in any way saying that Clayton has done this but there's always a possibility.
  14. Makes two of us Adam.
  15. I've largely been in support of keeping Oliver this week but if that defence does make it to the media I'd find that pretty insulting to be honest.
  16. Listened to it last night, good interview. Lots of respect for the guys that helped him and he never fails to give Billy Stretch a shout out for helping him early on with training and dietary habits. The bit about re-injuring his hammy twice more after the Port game, well aware that hamstrings can be re-injured and it's a balancing act with rehab but it was public knowledge that the club had him running laps not even a week after the first injury. To me this either says two things: A) The club completely mismanaged his injury B) He was so desperate to get back and probably defied orders to rush himself back, or both. Not an expert and happy for people to add to this but this period will always be questionable. To his credit though the interview made me realise how often players are playing through other injuries, when he came back in 2023 he then got the knee issue and as we know his last game this year he was battling 3 different injuries. Makes you realise how much it takes just to get a player on the field sometimes.
  17. It was the one thing I was hanging onto. I was much more towards not trading Oliver under any circumstances but I do believe players have their price as well and godfather offers do need to be listened to from time to time. In the back of my mind I always thought that if it came down to losing one of our stars like Clarry, then we would at least be able to cash in for very good compensation. I would still have been annoyed but I would have understood the club's position if this kind of deal were brokered. But the fact that we've shown our hand and are dripping with desperation to move him, how much leverage do we really have now? A generational talent up there with the likes of the midfielders that you and I got to watch at other clubs tear us up repeatedly over the years, offloaded for next to nothing. Even if this is fixing some kind of culture problem at the club it will set us back significantly from a list management and we will have to wait at least a few years to see if it was a good move or not. Very hard to sell hope to the members with a strategy like that. I'm sure there is more to how it has all transpired but as I said last night: If everything was going ok under the club's watch, with the people who work with him everyday, meeting his objectives right up until the review which suddenly unearthed vital info that he's a cancer on the club and the playing group, then this club is run by some real delusional morons. I'm sure people will question this and wonder if this was just the case all year and kept under wraps but then I'd ask why his captain said to the media last month that he was keen to get Clarry up to QLD for training camp to get a head start on pre season. Maybe they lie, who knows. #cluster****
  18. Gee not bad.
