Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I am sick to death of bombshell trade periods.

2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup
We all knew he was a speculative pick at the time. A wildcard with great potential upside but they don’t always come off. I desperately want Kolt to succeed and I’m not in any way saying that there are alarm bells, a new coach could help kickstart his career. However I have to agree with others that I’m not really seeing 'it' right now. To include him in a future core group alongside Windsor, Langford and Lindsay feels more wishful than anything with actual substance. If there was something to hang the hat on it would be different eg. A few more booming goals with limited chances or some nice raking passes across the ground but so far it’s mainly been bit part efforts. Really hope we can see some improvement in 26.

He really gives off a genuine vibe. Some are just like that.

You gotta love it when a day off lines up with the schedule. Our industry always shuts down the Monday before Melbourne Cup so that is always my day where I chill out with redzone and games and just watch as much football as you can poke a stick at! Do you do full on trail running? Would be awesome around there. I haven't been able to do a proper 5+ km run this year. Got a grade 3 Spondy (lower back) injury. It's actually been really tough not being able to run ☹️

Me too, would be awful timing otherwise. Will back @Dannyz over 'Tom the Tongue' though.

Maybe it's a similar role but in the new coach's words.

MFC Membership 2026
Can someone help me get this straight. If everything goes through a Ticketmaster account now, does this mean all my membership correspondence goes to the email on that account? And suppose I didn't want it to be the Ticketmaster email and I'd rather not change it, is that just tough luck?

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
No hard feelings. I heard Jeff got a real kick out of the appointment.

This one must go to the last day of trade period minimum..

Definitely getting some nice production out of those two. We gave Demarcus Robinson 1 target for 1 decent 20 yard catch. If we're not going to use him in a team full of injuries then I don't know why we bothered getting him.

Yep, clearly not right. I hope Mac is ready to go. Not gonna waste a day off on this one, think Stafford and Puka have a day out. I will watch after I finish though and report.

Yes. Beamer should have known the future when he made this speech in 2010.

Guerra is on right now. I had to run off but he sounded pretty composed in his stance to not accept unders for Trac.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
That's right. But the coach at the time had a fair bit to do with that.

Oh yeah, definitely read it that way. Not quite as much as Beamer Maloney's B & F speech back in the day where he said we were going places and if you didn't like it to [censored] off to Carlton (Mclean just left) but it makes the point!

They were good, Lawrence looks comfortable with the new system and special teams did a great job. However we did make it easy for them. Too much soft zone coverage and no-where near enough pressure on Lawrence. The interior D-line continues to impress me against runs but without Bosa on the edge they are seriously lacking. Purdy was either not fit to play or just terrible. His two picks were awful, especially the one into triple coverage. On the other one he would have taken the short underneath throw to CMC in the past, now he's looking deeper a lot. The fumble on the last drive was really disappointing as well, to not even get a few plays just sucked the life out of everyone and that was the story of the day - defense doing their best, getting off the field and then getting straight back on because the offense couldn't generate anything. Purdy has the contract now and whether it's fair or not it means people are looking at him through a different lens. He did a lot in this game you shouldn't do as a QB and for that money you simply need a better final drive than that. Jake Tonges is the only real positive for our offense so far, been an impressive scrapping TE. Apart from that I see nothing on offense that suggests we can mix it with good teams. Strange to say at 3-1 but I'm really not feeling it from any area in the team. Defense maybe a little but there are big holes now. Big game against the Rams this Fri and I'm feeling wobbly.
