The list loses credibility instantly for omitting Barassi. I must say though it is nice to read a list that isn't flooded with recency bias. Many could make a case that Robbie is no.1 even with Barassi in there and I also question Neitz ahead of Lyon. I'd also have Gawn top 5 at very least.

I don't like the idea and feel it's stupid but I do think you might be right. Wasting energy on hating something like this is futile, like moving the Grand Final to night, there are more important things to be angry at. I'll say it again, I don't like it. Can I say that after 5 years of using this format that people won't wonder what they were worried about in the first place? I cannot. If it happens, just gotta lean into the change.

I can only think that something different happens with YT's compression to audio when it was uploaded there. Possibly stricter parameters than Insta/the website etc. I do know for a fact that if the audio and video track aren't exactly the same length as each other it completely stuffs up the audio sync on YT. As you said though, always test.

Real strange, YT don't usually mute sections of videos that are copyrighted, they usually just take them down and issue desist requests. Doss anyone have an email address for the marketing and comms department? I've got a good idea for music for a potential tribute video on Fri. Not a joke BTW

I drive through this intersection everyday and did so an hour before this happened. No idea what happened but it's not great for trucks at the best of times and plenty of blind spots. Devastated about this news, was actually thinking pver the weekend how he was one of the few journos I like reading at the moment. Life is precious, every second of it. Don't know if I'll drive in tomorrow. RIP Sam.

Word for word what Simon Goodwin has said many times in the past. That it's a work in progress, never finished. Really profound things actually but then the people turn it around and say he's talking it too much. Things might have happened in the past but it's what happens next in terms of our culture that counts for me. As for Norm's executioner list let's be honest, it's 1 x guy that has pumped it into the water supply and everyone else is just a drum circle all discussing what a potential trade would look like.
