Spargo a ducker?
He doesnāt throw the ball and get away with it like Selwood does.

THE RISING OF THE DEMONS
Always remember where you came from and then you can truly appreciate your achievements. One month and change to go.

Are they tanking or what?

Majak Daw off-the-ball incident
Heās a journalist doing his job so donāt expect any favours. However, his analysis simply doesnāt sound right in light of what weāve seen in recent weeks at AFL level. Hawkins got off with nothing for what he did on Saturday. Dangerfield and Selwood have both been lucky not to be sanctioned in recent weeks either. At worst, this is a one week suspension.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Those forthcoming national Championships are going to be really important now that the extended lockdown has come into force because itās unlikely that the players from metro clubs will get a further chance to impress. Players like our very own Mac Andrew who looks a borderline top 20 draftee based on where he features in this team will only be seen again if he makes it to the championships.

VOTES: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
6. Bayley Fritsch 5. Luke Jackson 4. Christian Salem 3. Christian Petracca 2. Ed Langdon 1. Clayton Oliver

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
Watching the Derby and the crowd involvement and I would say that after the first two weeks of the finals, the rest will be played at Optus Stadium. No chance in Victoria.

Tommy Sparrow
Needs to work on his disposal and we have Choko Williams to fix that up.

Max Gawn and Chris Connolly on The Front Bar
During the period, at least four or five other teams had put the cue in the rack and ended up with priority picks but the AFL investigated only Melbourne. The practice had even been given public approval by the AFL CEO. Tony Liberatore virtually fessed up that it had occurred while he was at Carlton but was hauled in to HQ and silenced. Whatever the club was guilty of, others were as well but we were the scapegoat and Chris was the one who took a hit for the club. I loved his appearance on the Front Bar and it was great to see that heās kept his sense of humour.

Could we stop speculating about finishing on top and start taking things one game at a time. We have a game to win tomorrow.
-
Should we draft Tex?
We still have the no [censored] policy, so thatās a ānoā. Definitely.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
If he's eligible this year, he would be easier to draft. If he's draft eligible next year we would struggle to get him because we could not match a bid up to number 40.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Rhetorical question, yes?

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Worth keeping an eye on this guy if he's eligible this year.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
James Cousins replaces Connor Nash in the Hawksā line up.
-
NON MFC: Rd 18 2021
Suns will give us a bit of a touch up next week if weāre not careful.
-
Mac Andrew
Think Jackson started off around a top ten contender and went to us at pick 3, didnāt he?

The Pullett Surprise laid an egg.
-
Mac Andrew
That might well be so but just a reminder that Melbourneās first draft pick at the moment is in the 30s. Even if we trade up, where do the clubās priorities lie in November. A development ruckman?
-
CASEY: Rd 14 vs Box Hill Hawks
The powers that be in the AFL/VFL arenāt demonstrating that theyāre particularly interested in the proper promotion of community interests and football. The Pink Lady match is getting short shrift so donāt expect anything from them or 7 on the subject of the match of the round in this competition.
-
Mac Andrew
Donāt completely underestimate Daw as your 3rd tier ruckman. If he wants the role, thereās nothing wrong with someone like him and then to rookie a development tall.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Also, the draft pundits are saying that Woey Junior is a little bit āvanillaā and thereās little to excite about in his play. Your view?
