He is a soft outside player. That can work and be an effective player but to do that he would need to run his butt of all game. He doesn't do that! He fails to run hard, spread and engage in play. Not sure where to for Aaron, people have mentioned he has runs on the board, I don't think Tendulkar has enough runs on the board for how Davey is playing. Shouldn't be seen at AFL level again this regardless of MRP. I was never for him coming back into the team to be honest.

Good point. I don't like the attack on Scully. he will be a very good player, while I don't think he has helped himself but putting the talk on hold but if he goes to GWS he will have to put up with this much scrutiny week in week out.

So true of yesterdays game. I would like to see how Viney would go as the coach, He has tried to change things around in 10 days. Also need a good forward coach, Lyon could really help out there.

Some people will never be happy with Morton, his skills were good yesterday, maybe a couple of errors but in todays footy every player has them. He does need to get bigger but it will happen. Another preseason under his belt will help. He beat his opponent yesterday, even though it was another Morton!

Our issue is where we turn it over. We do so in the middle of the ground through the corrider. Our new coach wil hopefully fix what Bailey did.

Missed two crucial goals and if you look at his recent form was lucky to be a sub. Tiges sub did more.

Davey is the ugliest thing I have seen at Melbourne (performance wise) in my lifetime. (27yo) It is just sad They traded TJ but sadly don't think anyone will go near Davey. Howe was not great, falls over a lot and drop some asy marks. Will get better. Blease again was good. showing great signs. If Martin was fijian he would be the most exciting player in the comp! Trengove and Morton were great. morton's skills were very good. Sylvia was very good. Viney making moves, Garland Forward and Watts back. Would have liked to see it for longer. Bennell was good today. held Nahas well and I think he was more prepared to put his body on the line. I may have been wrong. Also Batram's job on Catchin was very good. Also ugly The Scully saga. Decision making was poor, knee obviously not great.

I do kind of agree. His hands aren't good enough below his knees or good enough in tight. I love his attack and tackling, don't mind him just doing the basics but when it doesn't come off he looks bad. Still deserves his spot in the team.

Aaron Davey should be very worried at the moment. A lot of players play school footy as Terry Wallace said but if we get a tough coach Davey won't be in the mix at all. Is so soft and just refuses to work hard. Any danger of running hard? Having a chat after the game with an ex Hawthron player/ assistant coach and asked what do you do with him, trade him maybe? He laughed and said to be traded someone would have to want him. todays footy you can't have an unaccountable weak .... that doesn't want to work hard. If the next coach is fair dinkum he won't get a game. Just paraphrasing there.

Morton was ok but he is the scapegoat. Davey gone for the year regardless of the suspension, he is a sad coward. Out Scully, Davey Green. In Tapscott, Gawn, Bail.

In a way we have gone backwards with Green and Davey. Davey shouldn't be on the list next year just woeful. We have gone forwards in a way that Trengove, Watts Blease Gawn and Tapscott have played a certain amount of games.

Jaeger Omeara mde his league debut for Perth today and kicked 4 goals and had 15 possies against Peel. Definately worth having a crack at getting him!

Conolly and Schwabb wanted Bailey gone. Connolly didn't like the way Bailey coached in the form of not a defensive plan just all out attack through the corrider. Schwabb wanted him sacked after bulldogs game this is why it was thought schwabb was gone at the geelong game. Board realised soon after schwabb was probably right.

Pavlich is probably a good example, similar to Scully where he put it on hold and he must have seriously considered offers from SA clubs. But I do remember him on the footy show saying he wanted to stay at Fremantle.

Actually it was West COast who suspended him so that's Western Australia! Not sure why people think it's ok to abuse someone's Mum? I would be very very unhappy about someone abusing my mum! Yeah they should be aiming to lose the last three and miss out. These guys play to play finals whats wrong with aiming for that? You guys do realise players get asked questions and have to answer them, whats wrong with answering honestly!

I think Sylvia and a few other players were not happy with performance based contracts. Before people say they should have to earn it with how they play the issue is more so if the players is injured they won't be able to factor in the perfomance based aspects. This becomes an issue when you want players to attack the ball and go back with the flight and sacrifice there body. To me the Sylvia and Scully situations are different. I see it as Sylvia wants to stay but wants to sort out his contract whereas scully is considering other offers.
