We could watch Damo's Breaking News Clips on the Sunday Footy Show over and over again. Just watching him makes me want to punch something.
-
Not sure about Ralph but Damo IIRC was only speculating on Sunday footy Show (I might rewatch the video) jic.

Sorry if this has been covered before but Just watched Damien B segment on Sunday Footy Show http://www.jump-in.com.au/show/aflsundayfootyshow/videos/3771174125001/ then reading the articles http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-07/clark-may-return-to-footy & http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-07/dees-want-say-on-clark and I realised that there is a lot of gaps in the reporting. A lot of conjecture and rumours the only quote is from his manager that says "It is more than likely he will put his hand up and attempt to get back into the AFL," Young told Channel Nine in a statement on Sunday. From the MFC all we are getting is "This decision by Mitch to investigate the potential of returning to play AFL is something we would expect Mitch to discuss with us," Demons football manager Josh Mahoney said in a statement. Se really we know no more then Mitch wants to return to Football. Oh and then there is this from GNF so make of it what you will. Grand New Flag, on 29 Jul 2014 - 3:56 PM, said:

http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-09-07/dees-want-say-in-clarks-plans-for-2015 Quote Although the terms of his release remain confidential, there are a number of scenarios under the draft rules that could be played out if Clark commits to seeking a place on an AFL list in 2015: • If Clark decided on a 2015 comeback before October 31, Melbourne could theoretically enter negotiations to re-contract him. However, it is understood that Clark is unlikely to seek this option. • Melbourne could trade him to another club before the trade deadline ends on October 16, if an arrangement suitable to both parties was found. • Alternatively, Melbourne could delist him by the deadline of October 31. If Melbourne delists Clark, his options would then depend on the terms of his release that were negotiated in April: • If Clark had officially retired as part of his release from Melbourne, he must make his way to another club via either the draft or pre-season draft. • If he did not retire then he could become a delisted free agent and be picked up by a club of his choice. What happens if you don't like any of these options? Because the way its playing out thus far he has no interest in negotiating with the MFC or there would be no need to go to the media.

Pic of Gawny from B n F with no beard he looks like Joel McHale from "The Soup" and "Community"
-
If this is all true then so be it. He is one player and the team does not rise or fall on one player. If he wants to leave then he is better out of the club rather than sitting on our list clogging it up whilst he returns. He will be missed but as Paul Roos said at the B n F "We are in this together and if your not - you know where you can go"

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
felixdacat replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
But beelzebub trawling through publicly available documents sounds so boring. The "secret documents" and "confidential report" sounds so much more exciting. Thank you Fairfax Media for once again putting the element of intrigue and conspiracy into the boring task of keeping up-to-date with what's happening in the world. -

Wow Indeed! The Mind Boggles One question though How the hell did the Journo get his hands on a supposedly confidential document. Strategic Leak or Cloud Hacked lol Please oh please Middleton would you throw a hand grenade in the next 48 hrs to make the finals even more interesting. Imagine the Football Media go into a maddened frenzy of outrage, outbursts and overly dramatic opinions. Media to any Essendon Player/Coach/Official: "Can you tell us how you feel about what's just unfolded" Essendon Player/Coach/Official: "Well yes it disappointing but you know in this industry you have to move on really quickly and you don't get time to dwell on this decision because we have another court case coming up next week. The boys are gutted but we need to focus on next week and try and get and our structures right and make sure that we come to play next week" -

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Just to change the focus from the HUN rubbish. Late night reading of the WADA Code uncovered this beauty. 10.6 Aggravating Circumstances Which May Increase the Period of Ineligibility If the Anti-Doping Organization establishes in an individual case involving an anti-doping rule violation other than violations under Articles 2.7 (Trafficking or Attempted Trafficking) and 2.8 (Administration or Attempted Administration) that aggravating circumstances are present which justify the imposition of a period of Ineligibility greater than the standard sanction, then the period of Ineligibility otherwise applicable shall be increased up to a maximum of four (4) years unless the Athlete or other Person can prove to the comfortable satisfaction of the hearing panel that he or she did not knowingly commit the anti-doping rule violation. [Comment to Article 10.6: Examples of aggravating circumstances which may justify the imposition of a period of Ineligibility greater than the standard sanction are: the Athlete or other Person committed the anti-doping rule violation as part of a doping plan or scheme, either individually or involving a conspiracy or common enterprise to commit anti-doping rule violations; the Athlete or other Person Used or Possessed multiple Prohibited Substances or Prohibited Methods or Used or Possessed a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method on multiple occasions; a normal individual would be likely to enjoy the performance-enhancing effects of the anti-doping rule violation(s) beyond the otherwise applicable period of Ineligibility; the Athlete or Person engaged in deceptive or obstructing conduct to avoid the detection or adjudication of an anti-doping rule violation. I reckon Paul Little and Wonder Boy have Aggravating Circumstances written all over them. I know it is not going to happen but one can dream can't one. Imagine the HUN headline if they increased the penalty. -

Kent had two 1 on 1 contests ahead of him but elected to go himself, I love the way Kent attacks it but I would love for him to occasionally give it off every once in a while.
-
I realise that this is only your view but I would hope that players would have some semblance of understanding that 1. Each end of season this happens in all clubs (List Cull) and that 2. By not playing with any intent only makes the target on their back bigger. I hope your wrong because if your right then we might as well sack 80% of the players who ran on the park this weekend.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
felixdacat replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
That was my recollection to if memory serves Dank contacted ASADA regarding its use and was advised to refer to WADA as it controls the list and would be best placed to answer the query. Dank did not contact WADA but kept asking the question of ASADA. ASADA can not advise on this as WADA is and always has been the body responsible for determining if a substance is prohibited. Dank knows this and EFC should have known this. -

Mission is the Elite Performance Manager one person in a team of people who manage players injuries. Here's a Link of staff at MFC I am sure there are a whole heap of others who may have some influence on injury management of our players. Of course you can always continue scapegoat Misson and blame him for all our injury woes it seems that's that your usual MO. I reckon the Medical Staff only give their best guesstimates on certain injuries because contrary to popular belief Medical Science is not infallible. The club would rely on its Club Doctors to advise of possible rehab and recovery times but they can get it wrong as has been shown previously. I don't think the club is purposely setting false expectations they are just providing the best advice at the time. Things change as they have want to do.

Changes for next week...
felixdacat replied to The Song Formerly Known As's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is true in both defence and offence the players don't trust each other. We end up with slow ball movement and a turn over. Then in defence we have two and three people trying to tackle one person which leaves big hole. Deciding to come off your man in congestion or trusting your team mate to the job is a hard choice to make but we seem to to make the wrong choice each time. The other trust issue is with themselves, if you don't have confidence in your own abilities then you have already lost the battle. -
Frawley has the right to leave. But he is still playing like carp right now. So right now on current form if he wanted to leave I would trade him. He has to show some fight or he will be like Dustin Martin last trade period. No club will want him. I hope he stays but only If he pulls his finger out and finds form.

Frawley for me Controversial call I know but he played a miserable game. Too timid did not take the game on would take mark out of defence then stop an wait for opposition to cover rather then using the ball. His decision making was so slow he might as well just kick to the other team. Have noticed this a couple times and it frustrated the hell out of me. I say drop him till he improves. But roos won't -
