  1. I'd argue it does. There is always room for improvement.
  2. Yes, I've touted the Everitt retirement being imminent, and White maybe to Sydney- it may suit him at 31. Sydney would want 2 experienced ruckmen next year. As you say, St.Kilda could well be in the picture too. Gardiner is struggling - then again he always has.
  3. I'm tipping 44,000. I would of gone 50,000 if it weren't for the Olympics. I think the Olympics will influence some not to go, which is only natural - especially Geelong supporters making the trek from Geelong.
  4. Yes Bruce deserved 1 vote. These 6 would have been mine - I may of swapped Bate and Morton around, but your on the money IMO.
  5. Interesting about Hutchy good on him if its true. Wouldn't surprise me about Jamar to Carlton. It seems a good "marriage". Hopefully he really kicks on in the next few games to increase from a 3rd round to a 2nd round pick. It could be pick -/+ 25 or so.
  6. Exciting, but that fwd line appears a little small. But gee its fast.
  7. That's good news. That's even better. Must of been a good game by Sylvia. Even better news for Sylvia coming from a critic. Contradiction of terms perhaps Nugget?
  8. You can say that again. They should keep out of the way, and keep the talk back to players to an absolute minimum. When their miked up, there is nothing worse than the player on the mark and the umpire exchanging words. Whilst it gives the commentators and viewers perhaps an explanation. It infuriates me.
  9. Who Holland?
  10. We need Miller back in, if fit. Who else? Jonesy I reckon can comeback in, but who do you drop? Bartram? Valenti? Bell? Who?
  11. Yeah, so he's 26, turning 27 on New Years Eve, so what?
  12. True. But he's West Coast's big name forward.
  13. It does clear a few things up, even some media speculation and mis-thruths.
  14. With Garland out, all of the sudden our backline looks 'even more' vulnerable.......... (I put in 'even more' after reading it back before posting )
  15. Good idea.
  16. I figured this might have been right. And I figure this is right too, probably plus the fact the Bombers felt they 'owed' it to Heffernan after trading him off to Melbourne. So in a way The Dees did help the Dons out. Thanks boys. Cheers. As Scotty Palmer says, "Keep on Punchin'"
  17. Hope so, but I doubt it. You reckon they could throw accross a lazy $500K for the council land asset out of their $780million TV RIghts war chest. And that's just from the TV rights money. The Dogs got lucky through C.Rose's hard work at Federal Level. (Which nearly fell over 2 weeks ago- State Gov't got them out of the mess).
  18. Maybe $500,000 raised from the Debt Demolition will go towards the Council asset? Maybe they wanted to move on the building works asap? Time will tell, why they passed on the land asset
  19. Well done, Casey Scorp. Very detailed agenda. There is a slice of the future plan for the club right there. Two telling statements from the agenda, which points to a positive outcome in the meeting tomorrow night:- 1. Council has formally resolved on 5 occassions in relation to the matter, and each time in favour of the project. 2. Community program is to be delivered over an extended period of 30 years (up from 10 years). Along with the detailed plans for the extended home base before the MRS is completed March/April 2010. May as well unpack the champagne now and put it on ice........ B)
  20. Yes I did. First noticed this zone or cluster in Round 1 against the Dees. They forced us wide like you say. Then when we attempted to switch it clogged us up, we weren't able to penetrate through unless we had precision skills and fast movement.
  21. JJC, I'm with you on this. We (Dees), don't do it satisfactorily, practise makes perfect. And it does matter, its critical, if we can't get that right it will hurt on the scoreboard.. Tactically it is high priority.
  22. Definitely an option worthy of exploring for the MFC.
  23. Lloyd seemed to keep his feet alot, didn't see any notable diving on Saturday. Which has been his trade mark.
  24. Only 10,000 at the Brisbane and Freo games................I don't think so.
  25. Who is quoting that? $9.00. Wow.
