  1. The Blues will definitely be gunning for Hurley if he's available when it's their turn, depends where they finish - its so hypothetical until the pointy end of the finals for the top 15-20...
  2. I've got an idea, Johnno can sell his house and proceeds can be used to wipe off the debt and put the club in the black. He can come live in my garage, work for a year at Ch7, then buy a new house!
  3. Read the thread again.
  4. The month of August is critical, if this funtion could raise $2 million alone, its a great start and it could dare I say it, "snowball", from there.
  5. That's a good sign. I hope they call him pencil just because his skinny...............
  6. My Predicted Top 3: 1 Watts - Dees 2 Rich - Eagles 3 Naitanui - Port Freo to get 4th Pick - Zaharkis/Yarran
  7. Yes, thats right. The negotiations on picks between GC17 and the AFL and other clubs putting their two-bob's worth in is creating that bombshell for fans. Its probably more likely that our team over seasons 2009-10 with new recruits will be what I call IMO "Synergy" years, where the youth and current required players (whatever the football department decides in list management), learn to play and understand each others game. Before they make real progress (Ie. Top8).
  8. Disagree, he'd take Fiora's spot at St.Kilda, or even O'Bree's spot at Collingwood. Just to name a couple.
  9. I was there Harry, with my old man at the Geelong Road Half Forward Flank/Pocket city side. Garry Lyon broke his leg right in front of me. It was exciting with every Dees supporter around me with their Trannies listening to the other games esp. Geel v Haw game. 1987 was definitely a 'hell' of a year. Yes. Kangaroos played too good that night. We had G.Lyon, Ox, Neita and Farmer all in the forward line, guys like Archer, Adam Simpson, Anthony Stevens played extremely well. Fingers Crossed.
  10. Has anyone seen Spencer play yet? How does he look for the future? What are his strengths so far? I'd like to learn more about him...
  11. Brock McLean. He's my tip.
  12. Good Luck finding out............ . I think it's fair to say that by next year our Dees will be well under the Cap. And so our team should.
  13. Yes what Schtacker said.
  14. Yes Greg Wells I see a resemblance too. Is that correct?
  15. Mmmm, all 600 of them too.
  16. Whilst I agree, I can't help notice you've been taking some tips from Malcolm Blight - nothing wrong with that - had me chuckling Correct. Re: Board's Plan: The plan was clearly outlined by Stynes and the board. For those who want to find the finest print of details, put your nomination up for the elections and join the board! Don't quiver and let off steam in this medium because you aren't privvy to it.
  17. Debt Demolition in full swing, Go Dees!
  18. I would be very surprised to see him on the list for next year. IMO he's got Buckley's. OP problems - if anything sides will want no less than a 3rd round pick.
  19. I'm restricted mcc and full mfc. Everytime the renewal comes up, I think the same Demon16, and my father put me down too. I keep holding onto it thinking if I finish, that will be it. I use mfc m'ship nearly always, mcc for mainly special events and the odd mfc game.
  20. Err yuck! Let's hope we don't pick up Laycock then! Go Warnock I reckon
  21. Greater than Davey in terms of market value? (Just throwing it out there!)
  22. The land deal would be massive for the club! Its like a first round draft pick! Can't wait.
  23. Yeah, Do it for "world peace"
