  1. Craig Cameron's? Don't you mean Cameron Schwab's?
  2. Agree. What about the future that lies ahead down at Casey? MFC's future, should people who are supporters but not members down there have a say?
  3. Thanks for the think music BB edit: I like both. But prefer B over A.
  4. Melbourne supporters can have a say. Not just members. There would be fewer than 1% of opposition supporters even contemplating on clicking on our site IMO. I am a long-time member too, and I would like supporters who aren't members to have a say, they might like having a say and want to join as a result anyway. As for the idiot, I seriously doubt he/she would be even the slightest bit interested in even contemplating a choice between two MFC strips! Let alone wanting to find the Mfc site and clicking on it. They wouldn't give a stuff!
  5. Choose carefully people. I'm still undecided too mousey. Ask yourself, when the players put their strips on "what will they feel good in?" Earlier poster was right, we need the players to model these options IMO.
  6. When was he an elite player? That's what Ooze said.
  7. Essendon. Agree. Update the constitution. This should of been done 6-7 years ago. No. You're pathetic. When do you write anything positive?
  8. You can still establish a club as a powerful and proud club regardless of whether they have an alternative clash jumper or not.
  9. Quite right skipper3. What ever way you look at it to raise almost $3Million is a magnificent achievement. They'll knit-pick at anything these days. They should be thankful that those at the 150 night contributed beyond the duty of call. Not everyone can do that. I'm sure Sunday will be well supported after the game by the red & blue.
  10. Maybe. Wonaeamirri would be a certian promotion of the rookie list I would imagine. Valenti maybe. There might be a case to keep him on the rookie list for next season. We'll see either way. Carroll is contracted next year. Dunn may have found his niche' in the side from Bailey's point of view. Work in Progress IMO. Melbourne have said they are heading down the youth track. It won't matter if a late first round draft pick will play fewer games next year. It's all about getting a side "ripe" across the board in four or five years time. We and the club I'd imagine, wouldn't want any "dead fruit" when it gets to that stage in 4-5 years. So it may pay to look at trading "ripe fruit" now to another team and get back early pick(s) for some "raw" or "green"(not ripened) fruit for the future! Ie. Green, Bruce and perhaps Wheatley. Who would want Nathan Carroll? And as I've said before, he's contracted for 2009.....
  11. Vincehotboy - Not sure you're so hot with this thread yet Vince. Time will tell. Word of advice. Don't believe everything Billy says. If you are suggesting we get Paul Chapman for Cameron Bruce, what good could we possibly get out of that deal in five years time? SUre he is a good footballer, but so is Bruce. Geelong would not want Bruce with what they have at their disposal at present. From Geelong's perspective, if it "aint broken, leave it".
  12. That is if we get him. If we (Mfc supporters, members and the like) have identified the likes of Blease and Zaharkis as the guys that will go early because of the attributes of skill and pace. I dare say other clubs have their eyes on them as well. Unfortunately. With respect to Jones, he is still well and truly contracted. He started the year well, he won't improve in pace, he will get stronger, his kicking should improve. I see him playing for the club for sometime.
  13. Thanks for the accuracy. $4.7 million. I love it how the media exagerate the figure of $5 Million then. One media outlet will state, "nearly or approx. $5 million in debt", then every report after that says, "a reported $5 million in debt". <_< Media
  14. Many struggled against Port Adelaide and those three that you mention Rogue, really disappointing. Newton did try, but he lacks in areas many have.
  15. I think he will play. Newton would be the one to make way IMO.
  16. Depending on where Western Bulldogs finish: - Ie. Say they finish fourth. Brad Green and Picks 35,67 to Western Bulldogs for Pick 13.
  17. McKernan & Roughead could go before Vickery. Another I like, that Nathan Buckley spoke of was Tom Lynch. Hope he is around: - TOM LYNCH 191cm 84kg UTILITY Sandringham Dragons/Haileybury College A tall midfielder/utility, has good footy smarts has set up a lot of goals from CHF for his school side and Sandringham, is able to play both ends of the ground and is was a genuine first rounder before being struck down with injury. PROS: - Reads play well - Footy Smart - Link player - Defensive pressure - 1% CONS: - Knee reco last year PREDICTION: 15 - 35
  18. That would be smart move by the AFL to dip their "feet in the water" to see if it's right...
  19. haha. Yep. So we can lay bets having seen ahead of time and make a fortune. Much like Back to the Future. We'll build a MFC empire!
  20. That is a correct assumption. However with 4 days left. We might get to $3M leaving $2M.
  21. The time is way off for me too. I'm guessing everyone.
  22. No. Only if they do not get a trade completed- they will nominate for the draft. Still on our list come trade time. Roger that!

Incorrect. Your grammar was NOT that clear, hence Rogue replying to you. Post#76 may help you.
  24. Then again, you can check out Posts #61 and #62 simultaneously if you wish.... Look, in the end it's still not confirmed until Friday....let's just all hope that if he does play, that it's the start of a long and successful career and one in which all of us will be made very happy by.
  25. That is your opinion. IMO he won't be part of the first 10 picks. 15-25 could be around that numbered pick for Vickery. 19 could grab him. MC Brilliance could be on the money. IMO, if the Dees decide to trade Green and pick 35, we could get another pick from 14-22. With 1, 17, and 19 (perhaps) up the sleeve, I'd be happy with: - 1 Watts (KPP) 17 Blease (Pace/midfielder) 19 Vickery (KPP) The other pick a pacey midfielder. (I'd love the Dees to get Zaharkis - but he will go before 10 in my opinion).
