  1. Correct. Good Post.
  2. yeah yeah freak your the first for everything especially pumping up your own tyres .....
  3. I ran out of breath after the first line and a half in the initial post!
  4. Been plenty of examples Nugget: - Summit Christmas Carol New Membership package - Demon Heartland Casey community/schools initiatives New Recruits (ie Watts presentation) Announcement of Youth Summit ......to name a few more
  5. Interesting, because it was announced during the Ben Cousins news juggernaut...?
  6. For people who have been waiting for the clubs blueprint, the strongest indication given is in this article posted in the first post. It will be released sometime next year, its been called the "red and blueprint", and you will have to wait a little longer...
  7. Yes Yes Yes. And yet Ricky 'initially' put it down to failure of the top order in the presentation after the match... Totally agree with that RR. It also now represents a bit of a hunting ground for opposition international sides, or a bogey ground for the Aussies, which ever way you look at it of recent times. Cricket Aust. may have to play the minnows at Perth and the bigger fixtures to Adelaide. I think the likes of Siddle and Krezja need further experience, the easy option would be to drop them and use them as scapegoats. Whilst the likes of Hayden and Lee 'supposedly' still have credits and play for marketing reasons? Whilst the likes of Hayden & Lee are struggling and are not getting the runs & wickets they wish for, I think CA and the selectors will retain them for the Boxing Day test and put their paith in them to bounce back. Geez, they're lucky.
  8. Points well made. Its a no brainer. Best deal this Christmas.
  9. Happy with the decisions made - all selections in the National Draft. Impressed with the Liam Jurrah selection. With respect to those player(s) opting for Carlton over Melbourne such as more money or perceived advanced premiership options, good luck to them, however after 2009 they may start to regret the choices they made, after observing the progress Mfc has made.
  10. You reckon?
  11. The announcement may be known from within but unannounced whilst looking for the best marketing opportunity perhaps today if not in the New Year. And so the club should look for their best marketing and sales opportunity too.
  12. Yes. Good point Pringle.
  13. You beauty, $2 million injection, well done Schwabby & Stynes & Co. NOW...There's our launching pad put it to good use and on with the job!!! It's up to the members and supporters to support in 2009 in terms of numbers, ensuring a trouble-free and prosperous year at a most difficult economic time. We can't rely on these kind of handouts too often. Merry Christmas.
  14. Haven't heard anything.....one of the nominated captains could be asking for a re-count! Fwiw, the majority of Demonologists are also favouring McLean, with Green getting a few nominations as well....pretty much follows the same line with the above poll. I wonder if we'll collectively get it spot on? Ie. McLean - Captain, Green - V Capt.
  15. What an absolute stuff up by the Herald Sun!! There is nothing to gain by that poll. The amount of people who voted are virtually guessing Yes or No to find out a result. (A sign of things to come perhaps - I hope not). I believe our poll here on Demonland is a very accurate indicator towards Melbourne supporters/members opinions on WHO should be Captain of the Mfc, as a whole.
  16. I should be getting mine tonight in the mail. :D Agree with respect to the Age, one of the best deals surely at $25 for 52 weeks.
  17. One guess........... > > > > > > > > > > tool.
  18. Ask Charles Manson, Warwick Capper and Justin Madden. Grimes kicking is fine. So did I.
  19. Hayden got 4 runs. Out, bat was no where near it.
  20. Is a bit like two parents and a hungry child waiting for a feed doesn't it. They'll sort it out, its probably over some important finer details regarding the other tennants, in that the AFL wants other clubs to have a better deal too. Schwab is on the money regarding the business model. The Dees haven't had a successful business model. At the SUMMIT we saw his model in summary which is a model not just for today but the future and for future administrations. Wish I had a photographic memory for you......
  21. I can't see them tweaking the side that much Monty, but your opinion is noted. I agree with the old Baggy Green with NSW cap theory. However Hughes is in sparkling form. In all this Brad Hodge must be very, very frustrated. Overlooked so much. Victoria's all time run machine now having passed Dean Jones of recent times.
  22. He's not interested in venturing to Casey?
  23. Haha........yeah i know....I was being a smarta%$#!!! Don't get too excited is what I meant. Keep a lid on it.
  24. Good stuff. I put my family in too, with a new addition this time (7 week old son). Back to the NAB Cup, Luke Hodge may be in doubt for NAB Cup, but they're expecting him to be available mid- NAB Cup (they didn't even say if they're still in it - they're cocky aren't they!: - Campbell and Croad also a chance to miss the opening of the NAB. Pre-Season delay for Hodge
  25. Can you pass me the salt n' pepper, BBP.... Much like Rivers.....
