you also need to factor in if rioli played another 60 games. his figures would drop off some (as they have in his last 30 games) wiz's figures post mfc certainly dropped off and his last couple of years weren't much chop rerun stats for just the wiz's first 189 games
  2. yeah, didn't pickup on that in the article
  3. i saw that and thought it strange. doesn't have to be a closed in fence....but....no fence at all? now they have that silly notion locked in walked up to that area on sat at half time. there is a slope but it is not that much. is plenty of room for oval with minimal trees to cut down depending how you site it. would still be a fair distance to jolimont housing. also the east/west path and avenue of elms and northern verge would separate the oval from the over rail-line building by a fair bit

  6. if the club wants another look at jeffy then darwin would be the most obvious game to do it not only do we have problems in fwd conversion but jeffy generally puts on a good performance in the warmer NT we need to find out if he's a keeper and this is a good opportunity

when the 2nd and 3rd guy pile in on top of the pinned player it should definitely be in the back (or just a ball up) clubs know they can milk a free and just pile in. it's not a good look for the game and crowds hate the unfairness of it pulling the ball in when you are already on the ground is a totally different matter on this question of scrimmages the umpires just let it go too far and it gets pretty physical and dangerous. They should intervene much more quickly as they used to and just ball it up before it gets too heated and congested. common sense really and how the game used to be umpired

possibly, but i wouldn't have paid it. we don't want these type of marginal, technical frees in the game there are much better examples of bad or non decisions in that game

they have no feel for the game really ruining my appreciation of the game, regardless if demons playing differing interpretation, ump to ump, game to game, year to year add more umpires and the game will be just one long whistle blast 50m penalty needs to be looked at and some common sense applied

surely the colonwood review was a confidential review and even if they talked the info would be heavily guarded additionally there is a very strong inference that the colonwood review was setup to protect eddie and his love child bucks. you (eddie that is) don't set up a review without knowing the likely outcome was probably a good idea to not involve colonwood personnel

  22. why can't we walk and chew gum at the same time, od? if we want to be an ongoing successful club we have to focus on the short term, the medium term and the long term (simultaneously) and in all aspects of the club simple really.....
