gotta agree here ernest. when i was young was a big fan of tennis......the davis cup......the big tournaments...etc listing on my radio. then they went full professional and pretty much there were tournaments one after the other all year....most meaningless and the players following the money.....staggering off the plane from one tournament straight to the practice court of the next. but.... as previously stated you can no longer buy a ga home or home and away plus a reserved seat (open air or undercover). You are now forced to buy a "package" which includes the grand final guarantee. So (for many) you cannot buy the combination that might "suit your financial position"

agree on both. communication prior to renewal with new pricing and opt out should be mandatory. a lot of my insurance policies have ended up auto renewal but have had prior notification. in most cases i have switched

i understand your argument, but you are just justifying the club acting as a scalper which in my book is gouging. i see a few things wrong 1. it is too dear 2. it is bundled with no choice for ga home/away member reserved seats 3. the % increase from previous year is too great 4. there was no full disclosure to members prior to availability (especially for auto renewal members) there must be a better, fairer way just my 2c worth.

luci, yes, looks like you can't select GA home games + reserved seats without the gfg . Doing so seems to value the gfg at $132 (based on what my renewable GA home + reserved seat costs). Hope it (lack of option) is just an oversight, else they are just cutting off their nose to spite their face

i've got ga home games plus reserved seat and that stayed the same (apart from small value increase) at least for renewals i believe that the only way you can buy any membership package without auto-renewal is to personally ring the club and do it over the phone

ht, that sort of increase coupled with automatic renewal is just indefensible. not only that it is just pure economic gouging of the sort you see from arrogant large unaccountable monopolies It would also seem to be a "shoot yourself in the foot" action just as mfc memberships are finally starting to rise i don't have the gfg but if i did i would be ringing the club to cancel the gfg , demand a refund, and give them a right earful the fact the club has done this without warning/explanation only compounds their poor decision making
