  1. i think gil is under the spell of that ex geelong bad boy he hired
  2. once the kickeriner moves outside the goal square it is play on for all concerned. whilst in the square the nominal man-on the mark can't be interfered with, as i understand it the mark is set at 5 + 10 (now) metres in front of the square. but what about the sides of the square? is it 15m there too? they should use more diagrams to explain
  3. i don't think many posters are actually offended as such, poita. those being critical are more on the basis of jack being stupid or a dh and getting a rep as a just a party boy who parties harder than he plays football, plus the bad publicity he attracts which potentially affects his family, his club, his club supporters, plus all those kids that idolise him. yes he is (has?) been a role model for kids, and yes jack has always been great with kids and charities giving his time generously and genuinely there is a lot to like about jack as a person but he's only harming that image and people disappointed with his football to date are concerned about his priorities
  4. so culture is like a tap, huh? wonder why jack said he was embarrassed for his parents and sister if it was just a question of fun
  5. c'mon wyl, you can't have it both ways, you have complained loudly before how bad culture at a football club shouldn't be tolerated and it's not as though jack has a lot of credits in the bank
  6. yes ernie, and hudson, unlike the other great full forwards around his era, was not a great overhead mark, he was just such a smart footballer (not flashy to watch) who just found ways to kick goals, with spectators often surprised when told he had kicked a lot more goals than they had thought. would be a great in any era because he just had so many tricks to his game. his stock kick was just an ugly but very accurate flat punt kick
  7. absolute rubbish. have you seen the size of glenferrie oval? not to mention what a mud heap it (any many suburban grounds) was in those days. Hudson got a lot of his goals from ground balls. he was a goal kicking machine in *all* conditions
  8. if only jack attacked the footy with as much passion as he did that woman's breast, there would be no problems or criticisms ?
  9. 3 years and more dosh, no brainer for dean really. esp after his interrupted career. good luck to him (except when playing us)
  10. can you guys please just get a room ?
  11. should have had a lobotomy instead of a [censored] job
  12. not forgetting dead scribblers
  13. would love to have seen darren bennet kicking out from full back. would have been a sight to behold....alas
  14. surely, ds, just having the mighty demons in your midst is an extremely valuable community benefit ?
  15. gary glitter........turd.........dodgy? you a bit slow on the uptake, pd?
  16. i'd prefer gary glitter
  17. wines has apparently being water skiing (continuously) since he was 6 years old and is quite an accomplished water skier. He apparently had a freak foul-up with the rope and dislocated his shoulder which a local hospital popped back in. It was just bad luck by all reports and not a case of him doing something stupid or beyond his skills.
  18. donald trump would strongly disagree with this assertion, mono
