  16. the whole idea of the infiniti brand is not to sell a cheap car they are starting a long way behind with their competitors (lexus, audi, merc, bmw) the key question is are they around for the long term and will they invest in an improved expanded range of cars. so far they have just dipped their toes in the water. if they are serious then they also need some good sponsorships. happy to take their money.

  18. you are quite right, and i was hopelessly and embarrassingly wrong, franky after your previous query i did a quick google and thought i had found the reference to runner-up. either i read it too quickly, misinterpreted it, it was badly worded or just plain wrong. i couldn't find it again today. anyway i have have been under this misapprehension for 50 years. I was actually playing at prahran in 1967, 1968 and must have mistakenly picked it up then additionally, prahran wasn't even in 1st division vfa in 1966. they got promoted to 1st division in 1967 by winning the 1966 premiership with sheedy playing, so he wouldn't have been eligible for liston (the 2nd division award was the j. field medal)
  19. not quite so. my area is not scheduled for rollout until q1 2020 (straight forward area - ftc) and i know of other areas scheduled for q2 2020. of course this could change, but the odds would only suggest for the worse i'm not too fussed because my adsl is quite good

doesn't matter, moonie, whichever way you swing you'll end up with a turkey anyway
  21. my mistake franky. but he did finish 2nd in the 1966 vfa liston trophy aged 18, the year before he transferred to richmond
  22. i have no idea....probably [censored] at the time ?
  23. but smith was (is) no better..... this is why this thread is so weird
  24. if pedo was smith's age they would have kept pedo anyways, this dumb argument is just about the fringes. neither player is of any great consequence given our list and options
  25. "I'm afraid you've got a bad egg, Mr Home" "Oh, no, my Lord, I assure you that parts of it are excellent!"
