  1. hahaha nobody asked for any verbatim anything. your reading comprehension is sadly lacking your lack of info and definition saddens me and encourages me to ignore your prognostications
  2. just hope no-one injured themselves
  3. all you've said is he was unhappy (no details) he was very close to leaving (what? talked to other clubs? manager shopped him around? club got offers? he asked to leave? surely if he was "very close" other better connected than you sources would have said something in media?) you got it from an inside source (not even any vague details) Like I said you need to do better than that or change your very strong statement
  4. you'll have to provide more info than that, wyl
  5. well i doubt the media will take any notice of pert's request for darren's privacy
  6. don't think there is a vfl practice game this week. there is one the week after (afl rnd 4 equiv)

  13. yeah that's the second cliche ridden report of the magoos i've read on our web site this year i hope someone has a word in his ear.......he's not applying for a job as a political advisor
  14. no idea why they start so late the vfl (or whatever they call is SE Aust) seems a shambles this year. not only start late but like other years will have bye rounds because of odd number teams. there are standalone and afl-linked clubs. How they will handle travel and covid with low budgets is anyone's guess. As well they are playing modified experimental rules (e.g. dynamic zones at ball-ups) hardly a professional second tier suitable for developing afl list players
  15. i'd be trying to get a 5 (6?) year contract (with maybe extension options*) 3 is too little 7-10 is too risky * based on performance metrics, medical test and a formula for increase in $$s
  16. not so....the vfl season doesn't start for 3 more weekends, so he could play inter-club practice matches the next 2 weekends
  17. lot of nice words.......but the damage is in their own details over 3 years average return (fee) to rise from an avg of 4% to 20% i make that a gross 400% increase in fees ( (20-4)/4 * 100 )
  18. so, down at linton st they are all talking about why melbourne didn't take dusty martin in the draft good thread......?
  19. you should send an email to club outlining your situation
  20. It should be pointed out too that they had a very tough draw which impacted % they only played 2 of the bottom 6 sides they played all the finalists and only lost to the filth
