  4. he also said he expected to be back in action before qb game...... the prev game to qb is 10 days before
  5. actually he said before qb game Viney has been sidelined for the past fortnight with another foot injury and is yet to pinpoint a return date, but believes his recovery is "tracking really well". Speaking at the launch of Big Freeze 7 in support of Neale Daniher's FightMND foundation, Viney said he will be back in action before the annual Queen's Birthday clash with Collingwood.
  6. i know weather forecasts can be dicey especially 7 days out...... but they are currently predicting similar weather next sunday as we had against the swans could be a factor in how we should structure up
  7. iirc it was just a continuous fixed sequence running from year to year all games at same time on saturday
  8. think it was originally tied up with fitting in with cricket, sharing same grounds, centre wicket prep etc......only left room for 18 rounds plus 4 weeks of finals.
  9. wind shifting to sw so rain belt should move north of the g......so here's hoping
  10. don't forget we get trac this year and next year on the cheap (existing contract) he could have restructured to start new contract next year so if you factor in this and next year the cost per year for 9 years looks a lot better.......then add inflation in too
  11. i doubt degoey will ever reach his potential on or off the field
  12. we don't have the full details yet.....have to wait for club to better update us and answer all the wotifs
  13. i'm still trying to work out the first use
  14. i didn't say sparrow is a better inside mid than brayshaw i said brayshaw has played wing all season except last week (special case) and has been a success there, so we should stick to a structure that we know has worked. we also have more mid options than wingers.
  15. you use the mfc app on your mobile mfc will download a ticket to app which i presume will display a barcode for entry what could go wrong ?
  16. brayshaw was moved out of wing last game only because none of the 3 emergencies were logical replacements for viney and one of the emergencies was a winger (baker) and so brayshaw became a mid. brayshaw has settled in well to the wing all this year and is a better winger than baker, so he goes back to wing. this week we have the whole list to chose from for a viney replacement. sparrow was bog in 2nds so is logical replacement. harmes would also be a choice but has only had 1 game back from injury
  17. he was only picked because the more obvious choices played vfl, so brayshaw took viney role and baker to wing with brayshaw back to the wing, baker is not a viney replacement
  18. if you are saying harmes as the medi-sub (for jones) then not a good idea. harmes needs more game time
  19. will crack 50k this year (if covid doesn't get worse)
