  1. i never said he wasn't a fan of sorts when i was a kid i had a favourite side in the sanfl, the wafl, the vfa etc etc but i wasn't really invested as such but you may be right, he might have been a really keen fan. i just have my doubts
  2. i doubt he was a real invested demon fan as a kid he lived all over australia but i don't think victoria like most interstate kids he would have had his best favourite local team where he lived and picked melbourne as a sort of quasi vfl team as the vfl was seen as the heart of footy (he was already 18 when the vfl became the afl) but that's just a bit of a guess
  3. even better, just get langdon to play both wings.....i'm sure he could manage it
  4. no room for morton?
  5. p.s. because it was all stitched up before trade week and was a secret buckley went into the trade period claiming he just wanted to go to collingwood. obviously he was happy to go to collingwood because they had offered him a motza and bears had the trade details all locked up.
  6. buckley originally got picked bears via zoning concession. didn't want to go. stood out for a year playing sanfl for port. bears then did a deal promising him an out (in 1 year) if he came to them, hoping they could turn him around. but buckley stayed determined to get to a melb club so bears starting talking to clubs looking for best deal afl (and everyone) was unaware of deal brewing with filth
  7. bears did a secret deal with the filth well before trade period said they could pick any 2 players (except for a protected 10) plus get pies first pick (ended up as pick 12 and a scott brother) was all stitched up before trade week buckley was ok with this because his priority was a melbourne club and premiership chances and lol as you know won zero flags at pies whilst bears got the threepeat (filth losing 2 of those gfs)
  8. no it's not. bedford was medi-sub 4 out, of the 22 in round 6
  9. and the dork initiate another callow youth to their ranks
  10. well unless i missed something out: dogga, kozzie, sparrow, smith in: bedford, viney, lever 4 out, of 22, 3 in, to 22
  11. but that's 4 out and only 3 in
  12. it all depends how covid affects them many get no symptoms or mild symptoms for 24 hours so......"it depends"
  13. and just a word of caution..... there is no guarantee an excellent tactical assistant coach will necessary make a good head coach a head coach is a very different job these days in many ways, some quite intangible i'd like to think ooze would make a good head coach too but there is no guarantee i can think of other well credentialed and admired assistant coaches who didn't translate to good head coaches, (maybe due to other reasons than just themselves or not).
  14. well you could have said the same last week with lever and viney or previously with bbb
  15. with viney and lever back, we shouldn't be any worse off than last week
  16. you can always place them on a picture sharing site for free (can't remember the names atm) then in demonland either use copy image (right click on external image then paste) or just provide a link
  17. and let's not forget the big rooster, cox
  18. i think also the definition of a close contact is now less stringent
  19. and they must pass 5 rats tests in 7 days. that's vic, may be more stringent for afl (e.g. pcrs?)
  20. 3aw news says melbourne have confirmed 3 players and their names won't be released until team selection announcement tomorrow night
  21. all that matters is he wasn't isolating he was walking fine with no bandaging
