  1. Lets be realistic there are not many players in the league who can beat Cloke especially if he is in form. Having said that Rivers should have been switched much earlier - bad match up
  2. interesting though how one poster 'disappears' and miraculously a new one rises like a phoenix
  3. links dont work for me get a menu of clips not including the above
  4. Can you (or anyone) knock up a sample image? Worth looking at/discussing
  5. Well he's a better mark than Bate or Dunn and he is a big body which the forward line lacked He probably wouldn't make it as a forward but I did think there was a time when it might have been worth the experiment You never know if you never try Anyway, its too late now so it will remain hypothetical
  6. If so, you'd be best then to change your nickname :)
  7. I know, but its as addictive as ciggies
  8. Of course that was the point If you were wanting the max money from GWS you wouldn't leave it to the eoy without talking to them beforehand Scully says he hasn't talked to anyone at GWS If you believe him then this makes it less likely he'll go to gws On the other hand, he only needs to 'talk' to his manager to effectively 'deal' with GWS P.S. I don't have a clue which way he is thinking
  9. Yeah, he certainly knew where the ball was and also tackled well That effort bound to get him a recall I'd like to see him work harder on his disposal at training though
  10. True, but there were a lot of other "experimental" moves that day too Oh, and we WERE tanking btw
  11. Isn't it possible that if one didn't look at ANY offers until end of 2011 that GWS may have signed their marquee players elsewhere and the treasure chest is somewhat depleted, so the really BIG money is gone? Seems to me leaving it late may be just that - too late Just some thoughts
  12. I suggested this last year as an experiment. Got howled down. Club doesn't seem interested either otherwise they could have experimented at Casey. Problem at Casey is they have no shortages of forwards this year. Ah well. Probably too late now.
  13. Whew! Glad you didn't watch with someone elses, would be painful swapping them in
  14. we do have Stiffy Martin though?
  15. TSSigns=False DoUntil TSSigns Echo("The sky is going to fall in"} EndDo
  16. [Do i=1 to i<>i] Couldn't agree more [EndDo]
  17. I don't understand Nixon claiming GBH drugging as the reason for his lack of memory Surely as an ex-footballer he could have claimed loss of memory due to concussion Worked well for many a tribunal
  18. you break me up Artie (or is it E25?)
  19. yeah, yeah and the grass is greener on the other side and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush (except for greenies) and a stitch in time saves nine. Don't be so gullible Artie ("I heard at least 2 afl people repeat this" - gee whiz must be correct) I have also heard many people comment how a particular player is a totally different person off the field, quite often. Your comments are pure poppycock, but if you are happy believing that then go ahead and delude yourself.
  20. Also a HOA in a business environment can also serve as a pre-requisite to discussing confidential issues of a companies business that otherwise they would not be prepared to divulge This would not be applicable in this situation The only reason I could see in a situation like this would be to go through all the T's & C's of a contract from both parties requirements (which could take some time) so that at the end of the season it didn't drag on for months (if the intention was to proceed) Anyway, I agree with W&H above that its all BS with respect to Sculls and its enforcability (if exists)
  21. good one - tickled my fancy (so to speak)
