  1. I'm a white Australian who bemoans our lack of engagement with our aboriginal people.I take advice from people more intelligent than me You can read my remarks regarding my supposed racism above
  2. If my lack of pride in tattooed, flag waving, ignorant bogans makes me racist so be it
  3. Big turnoverRodan unlikely to play next year Sellar Spencer McDonald Sylvia Fitzpatrick Not all of Byrnes, Kent, Clisby and Stark will make it There will be one or two others
  4. No just middle class white boys telling me everyone is equal
  5. Nice one middle class white boy. They teach you that at school or are you paraphrasing John Howard. Go spend some time in an Aboriginal community such as Liam's and then retread your post.
  6. If you'd ever worked or live in an impoverished aboriginal community I've no doubt your tone would be different. The mere fact that he got to us at all was a miracle worked by some very committed Magpies. The club recruits young men and owes them the same support they offered Liam. I hope that support is continuing. He "walked" out because his community went into full melt down and he chose family over football. Something most other bogans playing the sport would never do. We owe the aboriginal community of this country much more than an apology. Maybe spend some time looking into the divisions and problems that the white mining boom is causing whilst you consider Liam's predicament. You're still a f..wit, only a bigger one for crapping on about something you clearly no nothing about. Now head off to the tattoo parlour for you celtic band.
  7. We need everyone to step right up as well as an elite midfielder, small back and crumbling forward. And Watts to start hitting packs like his life depended on it A spine of McDonald Frawley Jones Hogan Clark Is as good as it gets only if they all keep improving and stay fit
  8. Surely the saints are a 25 point better team than us? Expectations are a killer aren't they
  9. That's be ause you're not really saying anything
  10. What exactly has Scheab done to improve this club?I don't see a lot And stop mentioning CWilson, she has nothing to do with the problems of sponsorship at this club Your posts don't do anything to refute my issues with Schwab
  11. I will happily admit to not liking his appointment. However I was happy to be proved wrong. Problem is I haven't been. Our club needs a better CEO, I'm sure you would agree with that. He was given the job because he was linked to the old boys network. They then had us dragged through the tanking [censored]. Do not forget Schwab had a large hand in how that was handlled. Have you ever thought that maybe its his continued errors that now leave us scratching around on Page 70 of the herald sun for sponsors
  12. I am not as bad as Wilson, you're dramatizing. I am doing nothing to stop him doing his job, I just believe the club could do better and always have. He has done nothing of note to change my opinion. I'm not sure why you are so satisfied with his performance.
  13. All of whom should be fully fit by round 1 and match fit by round 5 or 6 I'd take that any year
  14. Have we ever had such a fit and ready group at this time of year? We may just yet have a half decent season.
  15. He signed us up to a too good to be true deal with Energy Watch. Had correct due diligence been done he may have realised that the figures he was being quoted didn't match the reality. The owner had a history of poor corporate governance. Then he signed up 2 sponsors on discounted rates. Hardly the stuff of a professional organisation. I don't mean to harp on about this but our club is still in financial strife and if the AFL doesn't push ahead with equalisation we are doomed to the lower reaches for eternity. Personally I would like us to engage the AFL in the hunt for the best sports CEO in the land. We need them and we need them soon.
  16. Excuses make you feel better that our CEO can't attract sponsors
  17. If Schwab had done his job we could afford to replace him. Before people jump down my throat for criticizing Schwab remember it's a large part of his job is to attract and keep good sponsors. All other clubs besides us have managed to do so. Advertising on page 70 odd of the Herald Sun is hardly proactive, it smacks of desperation. Who do we hope to attract with such an add? The Casey RSL?
  18. with the current strike rate of finding quality long term sponsors they probably are doing just that.
  19. No we should be relying on Cam Schwab and his understudies finding us the required level of appropriate sponsor, that's the light weights job after all. Or do we rely on page 70 of the Herald Sun. I'm sure that's a big drawcard for potential sponsors.
  20. Amateur hour from the top once again By the way I'm serious Hope the ad was free
  21. It works for me as well.I was all for 2 subs and 2 interchange but this effectively does the same thing. Now to get rid of the runner, my other pet hate.
