  1. Holy F&$* today's the first time I've seen Jurrah play. He's like a key position Aaron Davey. Sublime skills. I think Newton has to get another chance in the seniors soon. He has been really impressive, as has Miller and Dunn.
  2. Try "hang on a sec, I just want to see this interview" or, if time is of the essence... "Shhh".
  3. Awesome, just awesome...
  4. Top post. I concur.
  5. Who's debuting Monday, Brent Grgic? Makes a lot of sense for it too be QB. Always seemed like the date they would work towards, and Bailey's comments in the media over the past two weeks have fitted in with that, if you pay close enough attention to his demeanor and attitude. Monday is going to be a great day for our club, win lose or draw. Let's hope the boys can welcome Jack to the AFL in style.
  6. "The ones who know what they are talking about?" or the ones who spend all their time on a message board trying to prove that they know what they are talking about.. Instead of doing what the rest of us do, supporting our players because we love our club. Get over yourself. Awesome game today Col. Last year and this you've really improved since you've got your body right. Keep it up.
  7. Cats supporter. I will get my revenge!
  8. Are you serious? A super young player with great potential and excellent leadership qualities is struggling a bit with injury and fitness, which is affecting his confidence, which is affecting his disposal and decision-making, yet he is still clocking up 30 touches a game and you reckon the game is going past him? You've got to be kidding me. Having said that, I don't think he should be captain. Greeny or Moloney I reckon.
  9. Yeah looking forward to being 4-7 at the half way mark.
  10. No way Bartam is getting dropped. It's just laughable. He smashed Cooney. Dunn, on the other hand, shirked a few contests, and I believe should make way for Bell. He just doesn't offer enough. Belly is ready to take the next step. Get him in the team.
  11. Lol. Did he say it about the 3 or 4 he hasn't missed on the run from fifty the last few weeks?
  12. FFS everyone lighten up. OP was just having a bit of fun. ps I voted Watts!!!
  13. I have tingles on my spine just thinking about Sunday night. Sure, it's a twilight game. Sure, it doesn't suit me. But I wouldn't miss it for the world. If we knock over the Hawks it would be EPIC.
  14. Top post!
  15. Nah, that's crap. The kid's good games are bloody good, just needs to rediscover some touch. I personally think he's put a bit too much pressure on himself this year. I agree he should be dropped, but as a means to an end.
  16. Can someone answer a question for me? I was sure when we recruited Bate he played his first few games in the midfield. Was I dreaming, because we need to do something to give him some confidence. He's a mess at the moment. He needs a shift in focus IMO.
  17. Why do you go to the game when you know your going to get flogged? Because you are passionate about your team. Because you love your team. Because you would do anything for your team. I like Flanagan but I think he's running out of material.
  18. +1. Agree but why would his team mates look for him when he routines makes errors when he has the ball. I am a big wrap for Bate but at the moment he's very down on confidence and needs a run in the magoos!
  19. I agree wholeheartedly with all of the above. More encouraging signs. Let's get Grimesy and Wheels back in and keep getting the games in these kids. Jamie Bennel took another step. Sylvia's eight tackles were good, despite him getting smashed in the first half by Wojinski.
  20. Had a chat to Brock. Very impressed. Last time I met him it was when he was 18. Certainly seems to have grown up a lot. I agree with WJ, I think he will be next caption. I think he's set for a great 2009-10. Stef's a pretty shy fella isn't he. He's going to be an absolute gun footy player though. Yeah wouldn't mind seeing how he goes up forward when match-ups allow it...
  21. Nice write up. It was indeed a good evening. I must say, Dean Bailey absolutely blew me away. I have never heard him speak when it's not to the media, and my goodness the club is in good hands! He was phenomenal.
  22. Agreed. You obviously never saw him tear Scarlett apart at the cattery like I did a few times when Neitz was out injured, especially the time he single-handedly snapped a five game losing streak for us in round 20 a few years back I think it was, one of the years we got down in the Elim by the Dons. Robbo is a champion. Yeah sure he can be selfish but that's more habit that by design. Blame that on Daniher and his short sighted coaching methods. Welcome back Robbo can't wait to see you on Sunday light the joint up with a few hangers and some shots at goal that actually spin like drop punts, possibly even travelling in a straight line!!!
