With a good run of injuries we will finish in the top 8, around 5-8. With a bad run, just outside, 10-12. If the coaches box hadn't have been pulling on the reins this year we would have had 6 or 7 wins.

If anyone thinks Dean Bailey was trying to win the game yesterday, they are incredibly ignorant. Watch the tape. Dunn kicks goal of the year, immediately moved to the back pocket. Davey a sensational goal to spark the Dees, immediately to the bench. Jetta in at the centre bounce, wins a clearance or two, get him out of there. I'm sorry but if you watch that game, really watch it, its so blatant its not funny.

Yeah I wanted him to kick it and I'm so glad he did, but gee did I feel sorry for the players. Seeing the elation from Ricky and the boys when he drilled that one to put us in front... Really made me quite sad to see them after the shot. They played their hearts out today. But Bailey did the right thing today, no doubt about it. If we go through the motions against North we can smash Freo then get close to the Blues and the Saints and come back in October ready to launch a serious challenge on 2010 and beyond.

I was barracking for the Dees of course. It would be impossible for me not to, in the moment watching a match. But in the aftermath I was happy we lost, of course. It would be non-sensical to think we would prefer to win two more games this year.

Yep. Rodan ran about twenty-five metres without bouncing the pill. He also got caught and should have been pinged for holding the ball. He also disposed of it via a throw. So yeah should have been 3 free kicks to the Dees.
