  1. I know where you're coming from. At half time I was going to the shed to find some paint I could watch dry. Now I'm thinking this could be ok if I turn the sound off and play the Benny Hill theme on loop. It's like half of these blokes are wearing clown shoes
  2. @hardtack According to Blake Howes himself on Ben Gibson's podcast he's been dubbed Halfway Howes for the past 18 months Not entirely unhappy with it Gus Brayshaw the originator
  3. Fair call. CBF with that either
  4. Fritsch can do it. A few years ago when Nick Haynes was at the height of his powers and broadly recognised as the foremost intercepting halfback in the game, Fritsch nullified him.....twice in the season. I don't share your passion for research @binman and CBF looking up which year it was
  5. Way too much information @old dee
  6. FWIW there's a weekly thread on BigFooty where posters of all persuasions can offer their predicted results and crowd figures. After seeing this thread I went for a look to see what the great unwashed were anticipating. Aside from a couple of outliers, everyone was pretty close to the actual attendance. The footy media give me the irrits and the simpering twit that is Sam McLure annoys me more than most. The whole lot are best ignored. On the bright side, Matty Hill is calling footy games and Tom Browne is nowhere to be seen. A rare nett positive
  7. Have you not seen him post before ? That was mild by Fence standards
  8. On BigFooty it's an auto substitute for a much shorter word
  9. I have @layzie, long ago. Good player, seems a good person. Glad we had him. That said I'd have preferred he stunk it up against us.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Thought we were completely one dimensional in our use of the pair of them. So many potential options but we just went forward, ruck, bench. No thought , no initiative. We've still got a Luke Jackson sized hole in our team that might have been offset with a more nuanced approach to the Gawndy project
  11. That's been my experience as well. Got a new telly a few months ago. The kiwi delivery guy looked at a couple of pictures on my wall and said "You can watch the Deez win another fleg in 4K bro". I didn't see that in the guarantee but I hope he's right
  12. Cop that Ralphy Don't doubt Danny Z. Spaz re signs
  13. Article on Clarrie. Surprisingly positive and free of histrionics. Fox Sports Clarrie article
  14. It's a bit like the bump with drop punt set shots. It's not the act that's the problem, it's the execution.
  15. Strangely enough he reminded me of a former Carlton player. David Glascott. Who was an absolute gun.
  16. That would do. Her "Broken English" album is a ripper. Upload your demo tape WCW 😁
