  1. Kane Farrell is someone we have some interest in and it will be interesting to see if it progresses any further through the year.
  2. I agree with you. His first kick resulted in a turnover but i'm sure the coaching staff will say they're glad he backed himself to hit that short one rather than the (2024) bomb to the top of the square. Went on to collect 8 touches with improved efficiency. Albeit different position entirely to Chandler but gave a far better showing in just a quarter.
  3. Windsor is playing in the back line, and Langdon is rotating midfielder.
  4. I agree. His ceiling is Todd Marshall but currently looking like Lucas Cook.
  5. The current logo is brilliant in its simplicity. However, we should be using a Demon more often, particularly when targeting our younger fans.
  6. Strong leadership. you can bury your head in the sand and say Kozzy wants to be in Melbourne. He’s going to light it up this year but his reality is that he wants to play in WA and so we are strong in preparing the WA clubs in what they will need to pay for such a unique talent.
  7. Heart wants George, Gut says Culley, Head says JT is known for plucking obscure targets he's previously wanted to draft.
  8. We are going to be allowed to replace Andy. Fantastic news. Could it be Roy George?
  9. Welcome to the Club Jack. He has chosen us ahead of WCE.
  10. While Culley was playing AFL for West Coast, Roy was lining up for Tytynder. Bit of perspective required.
  11. Also happening. All the quality Victorian boys are happy at freo so they’re doing something right.
  12. I think this looks different. Tracc and Oliver, allegedly, wanted to move because they were unhappy with the culture but are both from Victoria. Kozzy wants to move for cultural reasons which we may not agree but are real for him. The bottom line is we do have this year to convince him that Melbourne is where he should play his footy but from what I do know (and on the topic I’ll confess that is a lot and probably more than I should be posting in the open forums) he wants this move for reasons it would be hard to humanely not make possible.
  13. I agree but he is super intent on joining Fremantle for his own reasons. In fact, the days of moving to the state of choice is gone. It’s the club who’s done the most in work on tapping up a talent from that state.
  14. The club told Kozzy they wouldn’t trade him in any circumstance this year so it’s hard to imagine we could tow the same line out for another year when there’s family and children factors at play. I’m not all that sure his partner wants to live in Perth but no doubt that’s what Kozzy wants. We just need to extract what we can from him this year, work on keeping him focused at the task at hand and work out the best deal possible with the Fremantle club at the end of the year.
  15. Without the support of the MRC & RV, the project simply won't go ahead.
  16. It very much is and we will have to continually demonstrate how we improve outcomes for the sport of racing given we've chosen this facility to sit within a racing track.
  17. Aaron Morrison, CEO of Racing Victoria, has said that he believes Melbourne FC can co-exist in MRC facilities if it delivers strong outcomes for racing. Broad answer but sounded as though we have his support.
  18. I do believe Kozzy wants to go BUT Petty was telling his golf mates he would end up at Adelaide and we’ve seen how that has played out. 🤞
  19. That would be Ingo's company, Prats. Their sponsor agreement has concluded.
  20. I haven’t heard anything else but the front short spot is free.
  21. The healthy burger company have provided a significant cash injection to become a key sponsor for 3 years! Delicious news.
  22. Marty Hore making a starting back spot his own. Seriously impressive.
  23. They sure do. Let's see what happens. I won't be holding my breath.
  24. He told those close to him that he’d like to play his footy in front of his family with the Dockers in WA. I’d rather not divulge anymore if that’s ok.
  25. We had some good conversations with him but he’s told us that he’s happy in Perth and will be re-signing with Freo.
