Happy to not have Jeffy at this stage. Spargo has shown in one game that he is polar opposite to Jeffy in terms of hardness and willingness to chase/ tackle. Jeffy does it one game then 3 games he goes missing , been an issue his whole career . You know what you will get with Spargo even though he has played 1 game.

he was granted leave by freo twice this year to spend time in Victoria during season which meant he miseed games. Not sure on the issues wether family related our with Balic himself but there are issues.

Troy Chaplin should be in the firing line as well , not sure if our inability to convert inside 50's down to coaching , strategy/positioning , horrible skills probably a combination of all but I would rather a experienced forward line coach teaching our young forwards (hogan and Weids in particular) than a guy who spent his career as a backman

Jones: We'll address those inconsistences and get it right . It can be frustrating and dissapointing but we'll get there. This kind of comment irks me big time. It has been a common theme all year we are heading in the right direction , we will get threre , we are a developing team. We are on the right track , we have elite training habits, the group/club is confident in the direct etc. It feels from my perspective that the club thinks that it will just happen. We have always been a club that gets to a certain level then expects it to naturally happen.
