We have taken several NQR players in the past, either because we wanted to freshen the list and prove players would come to us, or we simply misjudged their ability. We should not be taking anyone for depth, other than perhaps a backup ruckman. IMO we should be trading for established players who would be in our best 22, or players we believe can make it under our development regime.

Isn't Aish similar to Billy Stretch? I haven't seen Aish do anything that I can recall. He is small and I don't think you can have too many like him. We are also rumoured to be after Hrovat, another small mid. We have another in JV, though he is an inside mid and Aish and Stretch are outside ones. Anyway we will see what happens.

Agree but he has great skills and is big and quick and really only has one problem, a lack of aggression. How many scoring assists has he been involved in? Who would you prefer with ball in hand 30-40 out? I thought in a few efforts he was turning around his game. He is a finisher and we don't have that many of them. I would keep him.

I would still keep Watts, he has upside and possibly plenty of it.
