Good news.

Back on track. The obvious increase in muscle, on the players, is very pleasing. Combine that with increased fitness, more talent and a good game plan and you can't help but be excited for the years ahead. PS. I wonder if anyone told Gus to go forward when he picked up the ball, instead of turning back into trouble.

SEN 2017 AFL PREVIEW: MELBOURNE’S BEST 22
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think he is already. Fast. Great disposal. Accurate kick for goal. Great goal assist. Criticism, should have grown another few inches, to help his marking. Will be a good player for us. -
SEN 2017 AFL PREVIEW: MELBOURNE’S BEST 22

And that is why I am getting excited. -
Well done Wayne. Always good to get reports for those of us not at training.

Training - Wednesday 11 January, 2017

If only we can get White and Hannan to change their surname to Gawn, it will be on in triplicate. -
Bit unfair on me Nasher. My criticism was on those who rubbished Jayden and actively wanted him out, not those who suggested he might be delisted.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
That medal will be worth a bit on the market in years to come. At worst he still has it and can believe what he wants about who won it. Quiet little pay off maybe? -
To be honest, I was probably wrong on Max King, thinking that more time would see him really improve. He didn't.
-
JKH will not be delisted, as I have said a few times on here, that the FD have a high opinion of him.
-
Fair enough Billy, but it amuses me when so many on here write off players, without seeing them play, or knowing much about them, or their particular circumstances. A common criticism is, "well the guy didn't play this year so he is no good." If Max was shorter, some on here would have gotten rid of him for being injury prone.

The initials, ANB, VDB, JKH, BenKen and JT will all have a chance to push for mid field time.
-
You may get your wish. With the Hawks, they have lost their 2016 B & F and runner up. Two hard nuts in the mid field. They have Hodge, Burgoyne and Gibson on their last legs. Roughead can't be expected to carry the key forward role. Jaeger is an unknown quantity as far as his injury. Tom Mitchell won't have the cover of quality mids he had with the Swans. I can see them dropping down the ladder. As for Geelong they have lost Bartel, Enright and Caddy. Their mids to me, are Dangerfield and Selwood, with some help from Guthrie. Stop one of Danger or Selwood and the pressure on the other is enormous. Lonergan is nearly finished and they have Tom alone up forward, with Kersten gone. Tom to me is past his best. I can see the Cats dropping significantly. PS. The Roos IMO will also drop, with their loss of experienced players and their two best ball carriers, in Boomer and Wells gone.

Should have had another guess.
-
Probably little Tasmanian Devil dolls.
-
He could have been one of that bunch, if many on here had their way.
-
And we have a seconds team, to assist with bringing players back from injury, before having to play in the senior Casey team.
-
Welcome to 2017, hopefully seeing the Dees back in the finals.
-
Well done WJ.
-
Well, with the Pies so high up in the midfield and defence so far, they must be one of the favourites for the flag.
-
Think Cripps extended his contract this year.

With so much happening on the AFL front I can't understand why it is so quiet around here. Maybe everyone is getting ready for BBO's hedonistic New Years Eve Party, held in the family dungeon in Romsey. Oops, I think I let the cat out of the bag.

I disagreed on him playing less than 9 games, as I said I thought he was the one they would use as the spare parts man, as I couldn't see who else they would use. Weideman will not be thrown into the ruck, even as a chopout. Who takes the Pedo role?
