How Have the Debutants Fared?
Basically agree.

Opposition Accuracy is Killing Us
Spoke to a former athlete today, whose father was a world champion runner and he agrees with my other mate, that it is most likely a fitness issue. Easily scored goals in the second half of games, together with poor kicking from us, suggests tiring players. Injuries of course also affect the team and then a loss of confidence, that can run through the side, does as well. What I still can't come to grips with, is the total lack of ability to pass a ball accurately by hand or foot and to mark it, even early in games.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
No, it is Misson’s fault, he should have wrapped him in glad wrap and kept him isolated and quarantined between training and games. Basic stuff. If he didn’t have glad wrap he could have used bubble wrap or covered him in paper mache. Lets get professional.

The Line Coaches
You have to wonder at people who are in charge of a game plan that is clearly not working, yet refuse to accept that they might be wrong and continually, merely say we have to get better at it, instead of looking at using another game plan that might be better for us.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Terry Wallace just said what a few of us on DL have said and that is start planning for 2020. Anyone injured should be rested and if operations are needed they should be done now. Get everyone fit and ready to go next year and maybe some tinkering with the game plan. Get more games into the newer players and it will stand the club in good stead next year, with a softer draw as a bonus. Of course you still try and win, but not at the expense of next year.

Agree. All the signs are there that he is being handicapped. Put him out and get it right for next year.

My 3 word player analysis V Collingwood
Hilarious. Your name perfectly describes your post.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Win the clearances, contested possession and inside 50's and kick double the points than goals, while the opposition kick double the goals than points. Display the worst disposal skills in the AFL. Welcome to the MFC in most games this year. Something is very wrong at the MFC.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Would help if they kicked it to him instead of away from him. Said for years we have poor skills while other clubs made it a priority. We have the contested players and we are winning the contested ball and clearances and getting killed because of a total failure in passing the ball. Hilarious.

Totally devoid of skill. Cant kick or handball. Otherwise ok.

I am sure Buckley will be worried at breakfast. Oliver plays or Billy does. He would have planned for both.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Of course he is. Goes with the season. We have had a late out the last few games to go with our long list of injuries and always good players. Meanwhile other sides we play have close to their best side in and then the week later lose key players. This week Lynch out for the Crows and Hurn and Yeo for the Eagles.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
I think our season is not proving we have a crap team, but rather with multiple injuries and poor kicking we struggle. We have nearly beaten the Crows and Eagles recently with half a team and when they were at full strength. In both games our goal kicking lost us the game. Therefore get most of the good players back and fix up the goal kicking and we are right in it again next season. A couple of more players getting blooded like Baker and Lockhart and with a few more into the club and we are really right in it. I feel better already. Banana smoothie here I come.

Hurn and Yeo their 2 best against us, out this week. How many times has that happened. It is part of the luck in footy.

Round 12 Non MFC Games
If you added the total IQ of all the people booing, it wouldn't equal the number of Gary's Brownlow votes over his career, or his games played, or probably even his goals kicked.

Gryan Myers pick 57 wow!

Oskar Baker
The great John Nicholls was also 188cms and would be dwarfed by Cripps.

Our FF Barry Bourke was 179 cms or 5'10. Our FB Bernie Massey was 183 cms or 6'. Our ruckman Graham Wise was 188 cms or 6'2". How times have changed.
