  1. Agree with you, but I think that Jacko is the bigger need and imo without of course any knowledge, have the feeling that barring injury, Jacko will be playing a lot longer than Kozzie. I think Jacko’s size and role will allow him to play longer than Kozzie, who will eventually lose some of his pace and magical ability. Anyway, if both boys want to change clubs, I am pretty sure it will happen.
  2. That is possibly/probably going to end up the case. He has family and friends at Freo and in the West and while he obviously loves the Dee’s the pull may be too much for him. I would start to look at what deals we can do and I would be getting in Treacy’s ear to find out if he would like to return home. We could add Woey to Kozzie for example and someone/something else to get deals done. This year could be a list changer for us.
  3. I was on the Jeffo train, though not in first class like Pickett Fence, but I am worried it is pulling into the station to be replaced by a newer model. I think Jeffo has this season and if we are still undecided next season, to prove himself. Hopefully he can have that breakout game which starts him off. He does need to get more aggressive at the contest, that is a no brainer. He seems to have the other skills needed to make it. We will see.
  4. Absolutely. I used to coach my juniors to take off if they were clear and either bounce or dispose at around 15 metres. They were never to slow down and bounce in the first few steps. It is amazing senior footballers do it.
  5. I am a supporter of Jeffo, though not as fanatical as his number 1 fan Picket Fence. I must admit I am getting a little concerned. If he gets another chance he needs to take it.
  6. Crow’s full back reported for light kick to Finlayson. No injury. Crows play the Pies next week. Hmmm!
  7. We are talking about a CEO not a footballer, aren’t we?
  8. Losing games and not having a new modern facility being announced, will continue to cost us recruiting good players from other clubs.
  9. We have now possibly reduced our major issues down to two: We can't kick a football accurately and We can't play four quarters.
  10. It's an FU Dees.
  11. Viney would have been good to use on Newcombe.
  12. That’s 24-11 Dogs way at 3/4 time. No surprise.
  13. They all don’t need to train at the same time and they were talking about the Perth teams and only one here on a weekend at best. So 1hr session easy to accomodate on 2 ovals.
  14. Another use for Caulfield. Umpires also need a home.
  15. Our side is different tomorrow and a win would be fantastic. Would love JVR and Jeffo to both fire and Clarry be BOG.
  16. I would love Clarry to get 40 good possessions and shut everyone up.
  17. We never asked.
  18. Delete now.
  19. Ed is now unwatchable and unlistenable. I prefer not to see or hear him too.
  20. It's coming.
  21. Well said. It is him and his inserting Collingwood into every discussion. Nauseating.
  22. No, that was a mistake. Brad standing up for Clarry was good, even though he may have done it another way.
  23. What, Sam the Sham gets another story wrong, who would have thought?
  24. So the question is why is this happening? Clearly the big clubs are treated somewhat differently. Someone posted that with the big clubs, good news sells and with the smaller clubs bad news does. It could be as simple as that.
  25. A truly heartwarming story. Were you on school crossing duties at the time?
