  1. Just saw 2 players run within a couple of metres of the player with the mark and then a player swung 360 with the ball and then hold it, while he booked an uber and guess what, play on, nothing to see here. I think back to Gawn’s 50 penalty last week, which cost a goal, when he was about 30 metres from the player with the mark and was following his man and the Tracc holding the ball, after a 1 second tackle on him. I have loved the consistency of umpiring this season.
  2. Take our opportunities will be a good start.
  3. He won’t be leaving Swans.
  4. Well maybe one thing. They will get the best of the umpiring.
  5. Well we can agree on that.
  6. I was wondering why they wouldn't give him a freshen up and play Weid, who can ruck and play forward.
  7. Watch a 15-5 pop up for them even in the wet.
  8. How many shots at goal did you miss?
  9. If the Maynard move to us happens, a few will be let go.
  10. TBH I can't understand what Dermie is on about. I looked back at the Fritta "small bump" on Grainger-Barass and there is nothing to see. If he king hit someone, like Dermie did to plenty of opponents, I would understand, but this is a nothing small bump. Very strange.
  11. Hawks game wouldn't have helped Hibberd, he was terrible. He has played well in other games though. Pretty sure he will get another year. Hore plays a bit taller and Lockhart is a little more versatile, but obviously can't crack the team atm. A few will go no doubt. I can see Bowey as our Caleb Daniel and I am keen on Deakyn Smith, who is more like Salem, but with extra aggression. Don't know about Declase and Turner looks more a key back. Petty doing ok and Tomlinson to return, so a good hbf could be looked at but we do have options.
  12. I never have one with any of our games.
  13. Brad Scott still in the race.
  14. Do you know how Brodie Kemp is going with them. At one stage DL's were very keen to get him.
  15. I see it more as a blue jumper option.
  16. Agree, but you need a distraction from the current problems.
  17. Well we already know who will be ahead in the free kicks and umpiring generally.
  18. Gee, that is very defeatist of you OD. Cheer up it will get better.
  19. On that chart, Gus kicks less than 1 from 6 shots and Clarry at nearly 1 in 4. Saturday Hawks mids scored 5 goals to our none. A slight improvement by our mids and we probably beat Hawks, Crows and Giants.
  20. Leading to the pockets is IMO an instruction from the coaches. It is clearly based on keeping possession and IMO, affects our chances of scoring from inside 50 entries. That is probably borne out by our scores.
  21. Agree. That's what leads to that idiotic attempted pass by Fritta, when 40 out on the boundary and we are leading by 5 points, deep into the last quarter. He passed to a small forward, with 3 Hawks defenders all around him, to try and get it to a better scoring position, when a point would have won us the game and even at that stage, wasted a bit more time. The result was the obvious spoil, with the ball rushed up the other end of the ground. While I am at it, where were the leaders telling him to take his 30 seconds and make sure he gets a score at least with the kick?
  22. Now you have outdone your former kinkiness.
  23. We are the only team in history to have lost or drawn 3 times, to teams 14 places below us, at the time of the game. Congrats Dees.
  24. Well then he will be dropped because that is not our game.
  25. Atm he is one of the hardest mids in the game, but also one of the least skilled and effective. Needs to get his game back.
