And just by the by, we didn’t kick a goal for the last 13 minutes of the game while the Crows kicked 3. So much for superior fitness.

We lift for the better sides, but honestly we have played poorly for the last few games and luckily got the wins, except for today.

When you fumble all game and bomb it long into your forward line every time, you deserve to lose. Forget the umpiring, as they are not tough guys and they were simply scared of being hurt in Adelaide, if they payed the last holding the ball and deliberate. Also whatever stops we were wearing, well someone made a big mistake. We constantly fell over and it cost us badly.

Agree. Also if there is a spoil up the ground it can rebound quickly to him one out.

Does beating Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond and Geelong count as a community benefit?
-
Yep that's the problem. Hopefully Bowey and Deakyn Smith keep improving and are viable options next year.

Slight injury, possibly groin, hopefully precautionary.

Not official but correct.

Yep.

Salem out.

Cats would hand those 3 over in a second, to get Cerra for the next 10 years. Would also ease salary cap a bit to go for another player.
-
If that was true, you could manipulate the draft further. If say we wanted our NGA kid who might be top 20, you by bid on every father/son or NGA kid you were certain would be matched, to get your guy to a later pick.

Wash your mouth out with soap.

I have only one gripe about this, I wish it was Carlton too.

Which Cats are from WA?

Understand what you are saying, but these days certain things have changed. For example, a few years ago who would have cared less about a player squeezing a team mates bum? If behaviour can be improved, to the team's benefit, then it is a positive. It may not be as obvious as a long goal on the field, or a screamer over the pack, but it all contributes to a strong, winning, good team culture.

1985 - 2007 at Junction Oval. As you know I was Team Manager of the Dees under Big Carl in 1979 and we trained on the G. Being on the ground with the boys was a time that I will never forget.

How many years has this been going on?

3 issues are probably relevant to note. It wasn't just milk, it was specially prepared protein smoothies, made for the players by someone whose job it was to do that, to aid recovery or whatever. Throwing it around was insulting to that person. It is much harder to clean from the floor, which according to Tracc is the job of the property staff. It was a bit embarrassing to do it to a young player. Interestingly all current and former players asked about Tracc's actions in helping to clean it off, said he did the right thing. They all agreed he showed leadership and concern about teammates and staff and that it was another one percenter and that they all counted in the race to be the best. PS. Chandler probably wasn't too concerned, but I bet he and other young players watching, were happy that Tracc showed concern for a young teammate. Another small step in building a good culture.

Yes he could be an option for a midfield/wing role and he has great pace. He was top 10 in his draft year and if I recall correctly, it was his hammies, that kept failing him. If they are under control now, he could be a cheap option, that won’t hurt us if he doesn’t make it. It will be interesting to see the type of players we take in the msd, given our current playing list. Will this be a needs draft, or a best available at our pick draft?

If Clark does now want to go home, it makes sense that Freo is the likely club, especially as there are rumours that Cerra wants to do the same. Pennant has some good info from the west, so if Freo fear losing Cerra, they would be looking for players coming to them. Anyway if we can’t get someone like Clark, maybe a cheap option is Freeman who also has great pace. He was top 10 in his draft year and if I recall correctly, it was his hammies, that kept failing him. Like we played Hunt forward and plenty on here wanted him gone. He is not that dissimilar to Hunt in his playing style. I remember when I pushed for Shai Bolton a few years ago, when he had only played a couple of games in the seniors and was playing most of the year in the VFL and the DL knock on him was we don’t need a Tiger’s seconds player. Just saying.

At the very worst. I think he is unhappy atm and a fresh start could be what he needs.

Dropped again for the 3rd or 4th time this year. As I said last year, I would target him. Half back or even solving our other wing issue. With Jetta probably gone and Hibberd near the end, he could be very useful for us.
