But not against a crowd of feral Port fans, scaring the umpires into giving them everything and lifting their team.

Yep. 20/10 frees against dogs at 3/4 time. Never seen that before, especially at home.

But apparently Cerra is not keen on Lyon.

Maybe he means reading an atlas.

If Clarko has just told the truth that he is taking next year off to travel the world, then Ross Lyon is probably the next Blues Coach.
  6. MFCSS is alive and well. First time we make top 4 in years and no home ground advantage. First time we have a possible very good NGA player and they change the rules.

Think you have nailed it with Smith. Cameron gets most of his goals from running around, rather than marking in a pack close to goal. Smith will be able to run with him and while a little shorter has a leap if contesting a high ball. Cameron is more of the opportunist key forward while Hawkins is the lead out player. May will take Hawkins and Smith could get Cameron with Petty on Rohan, leaving Lever able to pick up a half forward and continue sweeping and intercepting.

Well I suppose he now has exposed AFL form and while admitting I know very little about him, a few on DL think he could help us with the other wing. Swans need to reduce their salary cap and he wouldn’t be an expensive trade so as I said, if JT thinks it’s a yes, then go for it. We clearly need to find another winger and if not him, then hopefully someone else. I wonder if my project player Deakyn Smith is a chance and maybe in another season even Rosman.

If JT thinks he is ok then go after him.
  10. It is a strange incident and the perpetrator is generally not involved in aggressive incidents to my memory. The ball is bounced and the two of them compete without contact, then inexplicably, Daw goes over to Cox and swings an arm at his shoulder neck region. Daw then continues to glare at Cox. Cox does not retaliate at all. The first question is: did that arm swing cause an injury and if so what? The next question is: what caused Daw to swing his arm at Cox? According to the Pies the injury was caused in play earlier. If this occurred in a game without injury to the victim, it would be a free kick, nothing more, as we saw in the Yeo hit on Kozzie, a week or so ago. Yeo's action was clearly harder and rougher than Daw's. The way the MRO and Tribunal have been going, I would not be surprised if he was given life.
  11. It wasn't behind the play.

According to Healy he holds the record for that feat.
  13. Forgot about Wheaters. They do have some similarities in playing style.
  14. That's the way I see it. If Dogs beat Port or bad weather, there could be a change though.

Disagree. Just have a look at that kick from Sparrow late in the game straight to a Crow. That is a problem. Also an inability to break free from contests. I am not knocking Tom as he will improve but JJ is ahead of him easily ATM.
  16. That can’t be right, it’s their home game.
  17. Really looking that way. I think we are light on for younger key forwards and need him to stay and step up next year.
  18. Don’t understand why Weid didn’t get a run. Right weather and down a couple of key position players.
  19. The over confidence of some on here who just never learn brings on my MFCSS severely. We have seen over and over this season if you are off your game, you can get rolled easily.
  20. That's it. Loss coming up. Ruined my morning.

Think Hawkins might get one because of the injury and Danger clear.
  22. Family in Sydney I believe and see no reason he would leave this early in his career.

Player subbed out with probable concussion. Late tackle. We will see.

Stewart out for rest of season.

I meant we don’t sew up top spot if Port win both games and we lose one.
