Is that true that he said nothing about Ollie’s 6 year contract with his old club? If so should be called out in that. That said Tracc is actually 7 years on top of current 2 to go so nearly nine years. That is a bit different.

Weid IMO applies more pressure than Melksham, is taller, probably quicker, can play key forward or forward pocket and flank, is younger and more vital to our future and has already starred in a final for us. I don't want Weid lost to the club. TBH if it came a choice between Weid and BB, I would go for Weid. If he doesn't get games, I fear he will be lost to us.
-
Despite being bigger, I see no reason why Weid can’t replace Melksham.

Well done on your scoop and I look forward to more good ones from you in the future. Don't be put off by the negative nellies, plenty of us love reading scoops, even if they don't all come true.

One of my favourite posts on DL. Only need one more to overtake it saying, “ Petracca deal done by Dees”

Fritta had blood on his lips when he got up just by the way.
-
That’s not correct. You can be hurt and still play without concussion. He was assisted off and was wobbly. It hurt him and it was careless. A fine or 1 week were the obvious penalties. If we can’t get more for appealing they probably will, but otherwise they will accept it and move on.

Agreed. Tom also played better sunday back than forward. Not saying it is a permanent solution though, but rather an option to use.

Yes write off BB after first game with new club, him getting used to their delivery and them getting used to how he leads/plays. All the while, he was being manhandled on every occasion, without the offenders being penalized, except on one occasion. He kicked 2 goals, often had 2 on him and this allowed Fritta more unmanned time, netting him 6. Matthew Lloyd was a great full forward, but not everything he says about footy is correct. Actually I think he was one of those who said we should get rid of Tom Mac.

Hore or Smith could have probably helped out, but they can't, so unless M. Brown or Daw are seen as next after Petty and Tom, that may be the way we go. Tom actually looked better yesterday when he went back. It will be interesting to see which way we go in the mid season draft. It really is a free hit to secure some players who may be maturing as footballers, rather than relying on 18 year olds.

Agree Daz. A lock down key defender is looking a possible target. However, atm we have Petty and Tom Mac as the only real viable ones until maybe Joel Smith returns. Majak is killing them in the VFL, but is probably more a key forward or loose key Defender than a lock down one. Of course he can also pinch hit in the ruck. M. Brown is around and maybe could be one for a few games if needed. So it would seem that we may need a lock down key defender in the mid season draft, more than some other types. I would imagine there is a mature one somewhere who could play the role. With Tommo down, it seems we now have 3 spots, so we could grab a few extra players that we could develop and then keep next year, if they show promise.

What about the assists? He is getting them and giving them. -

This kid is going to be so much better than I ever imagined. Kudos to Jason and his team. 3 picks for 3 direct hits and great hits at that. -
Sounds like we agree. Posted this several hours ago. "Argument has to be, that is my broken hand arm and I can’t fend off with my hand, as it could be further damaged, so used my forearm to his shoulder, but he ducked and caused the head contact. No concussion. Played the game out. Hopefully that is a fine"

Well, top of the ladder after 7 games. Played poorly today and won by 5 goals. Good sides do that.
-
You will find that occurs 59% of the time.
-
I agree with you 73% of the time. 67% of people don't understand percentage.

Argument has to be that is my broken hand arm and I can’t fend off with hand as it could be further damaged, so used forearm to shoulder but he ducked and caused the head contact. No concussion. Played the game out. Hopefully that is a fine but as Jaded said he is a MFC player and I expect a week.

Arrogance on here and same on field.

Shocking. Looks bad given his distress. Petty is probably next in.
-
It was from the AFL site ,which initially listed 5 interchange players for each team. I shouldn't believe anything the AFL says.

I was looking at the AFL site on my phone. Initially they had 5 interchange for each team.

His Captain is his equal.

Strange Chandler is in 23, probably sub, when he played Thursday and Baker didn’t play.

After 300 games, being managed and not having to fly to Tassie and being allowed to spend the time with pregnant wife and 2 kids does make sense, doesn’t it?
