Well done Dees. All adds to our culture. Dick and Carol are lifelong Dees and would have got a real kick out of seeing the cup up close. Dick absolutely deserved this as our past CEO, among other roles and I am very happy for him.

Leaving the greatest Demon out, if Allen Jacovich was playing in this side, he would kick 100 in a season, while eating his Big Mac meal during the game. Clearly several of the Demon stars of years gone by would be as good, if not better in this current team. One of the most pleasing things for me is the depth in this squad. I can’t recall this quality of depth in the last 50 years. Thank you Jason Taylor, one of the best recruits ever to the Dees.

I actually thought Schache could have got a free in the marking contest, when Gus just barrelled him. The fact that he pretended to be mortally wounded probably went against him. Gus clearly tried to put him out of the contest and succeeded. But who cares, we are Premiers.

Might be a good time to get the deal done soon and with Jacko to come out and say how much he respects the Coach and has learned from him.
