  1. He will be traded. When both clubs are trying to do a deal, they usually find a way.
  2. Well if true there goes the threat. Freo can just do the deal now that I have posted, by clearing Lobb to Dogs and they then have all the needed picks to get the deal done. The Eagles, if serious, can put pick 2 on the table along with something else like their F1st and it’s done. Eagles need to stop screwing around with their threat of splitting 2 and giving us only one of the two picks they get. I hope LJ has told the two clubs he will return to us if deal not done.
  3. Just won B and F.
  4. They don't have much else. Probably only Keath, who has been injured a fair bit.
  5. Zaine Cordy going to the Saints. Wonder if Dogs will look at Tomlinson.
  6. On Lamb’s comments, Cornes – speaking on AFL Trade Radio’s The Early Trade - said: “That’s a lie.
  7. They got what the rules at the time prescribed. We might have got overs in true value and the Hawks unders in value, but that was the formula. Now we don't know how the decision is made. That said, do you agree with my point?
  8. On Lamb’s comments, Cornes – speaking on AFL Trade Radio’s The Early Trade - said: “That’s a lie. Wonder if Tim is off to see his Solicitor.
  9. It worse as Jones is 22 in February. 5 years older than Hunt and he retired of his own volition, yet Carlton now get a higher pick than us for Hunt. We lose Hunt who played 40 games in the last two years and Carlton get more for a bloke who was retired for a year. It's an absolute joke.
  10. Carlton get compo pick 49, for a 31 year old, who retired, rather than accept an AFL Covid Vaccination ruling, while we get 53, for a 27 year old, who played 40 games in the last two years and has signed a 3 year deal with another club. Surely the compo can't be in the same round for those two situations. This stinks to high heaven.
  11. Sounds like we want the Grundy trade done before the LJ one, so we can't be hassled over the LJ picks. If we give 27 for Grundy, does that mean we are currently without a pick?
  12. A truly lovely man, the most skillful player I have seen in my 70 years, humble and modest and a great mate. Taken too soon, always missed by his family and friends. RIP. Robbie.
  13. You have mixed up posts. Alpha 33 said he had a headache, not Demon Disciple. This misquoting is giving me a headache.
  14. They will get picks for retired and delisted players. I think you only need to add 3 players and they are trading in players too.
  15. The Dockers currently have every pick in my scenario except the Lobb pick. If they clear Lobb to the Dogs and give us that pick, with the others they already have, it would be an easy deal. They have apparently already offered us 13 and F1st and we have refused. In other words, they throw in North F2nd and North F3rd and maybe Acres F50 something and clear Lobb and give us the pick. If they were serious about Jacko and are worried about WCE, then do it now and it's done, all over, finished.
  16. I haven't listened to one word of trade radio. It's my own silly idea, that might not be that silly, as it can be easily done by the Dockers, if they want to finish this trade right now. Would you do that deal if you were Tim Lamb? I would.
  17. Go and lie down then after taking a few panadol.
  18. We have backup rucks at Casey in Bell, Valentine and Smith etc, but would have no AFL backup to Gawn and Grundy. We could Rookie an experienced ruckman, until the son of you know who, that you don't want me to mention, is drafted and matures. However I am not saying clear Weid, only posting the rumour.
  19. The bundling of 13 with North's F2nd ( say approx 21 ) will go a long way to getting us the first pick we want. Then Freo's F1st plus the Lobb pick and or the Acres pick, will do the same for the second pick we want. Or just give us all of those picks, plus the North F3rd and we will do the deals. We could easily end up with 2 picks inside 10. Then ask them to throw in Treacy and they have LJ. So we would get initially 13, North F2nd and F3rd, Freo F1st, Lobb pick and Acres pick F50 something. See how easy it is.
  20. Time to get Treacy thrown into the LJ deal.
  21. Yes he did.
  22. Saints now rumoured to be gunning for him.
  23. They can still bundle 13 with Lobb pick or Acres pick and improve it . They can also trade a player to us. Sounding like it will get done.
  24. Lamb has stated categorically Harmes is staying, so we can all breathe again.
  25. You are not the only one. I was thrilled we got him in the draft, as he slipped down the picks. Tall and talented mid.
