Whatever Weid is on, the replacement will be on less. I still see this as getting a lot of future picks and salary cap room, for a big play next year and maybe in the process, improving this year's 2, but now maybe 3 picks.

I don't think that is quite right. We keep trying until Wednesday morning to get more, say that North F2. If Freo keep refusing, we ring LJ/Manager and say we are trying to help you get to the club you want, but they are not budging. We ask him/they to apply some pressure, and we are happy to have him back for a season and try again the following year. We tell him we obviously value him more than Freo do, so now it's up to you guys and them, our hands are tied. In the end Freo have promised him a fat contract and to get him traded by us and they need to get the job done, or lose him and all credibility in a massive fail. Plenty of other players and managers would be watching on. LJ said he won't go into the PSD. We will rely on that. Therefore it's us or them. We have bargaining power.
