How do hamstrings perform in snow or mud?

Well, if we put it on the membership to attend the game at the G, in order to end the Alice games, I wonder what the nett figures might end up as, after deducting all costs not covered in that $500K. If it was say $200k difference, you then factor in the inconvenience of travel and other associated factors and compare that to a true home game, in front of your fans. You might even sell a lot of those 3 game memberships, on the back of another home game at the G. With 65000 members, we are surely now in a position to not need the Alice money like previously and could repay the members with another game to attend. We already travel interstate as much as any Victorian team and more than a lot of others and also have our annual Kitty Litter game, where the members can't get in. Worse, this year it was played on thursday night, creating just another way to stuff up families from attending. As an idea, you could abandon the Alice game, get another one at the G instead and put the price up on membership by $5.00 for Victorian MFC members. That could result in about $350k from the $5 increase, plus the revenue of the G game and you would be ahead on the venture, without travel etc. This would give the Victorian members another game to attend and ensure it was a real home game, with the possibility of even a free kick in our forward 50 for a change, if the crowd could yell loud enough.

Well, the weekend finished like thursday night was for me. Went back to the restaurant where I had the Bundaberg Sarsparilla, ordered one and to my dismay, they had sold out. Diet Coke is just not the same. The way I am going, I could go to a chinese restaurant and find out they are out of banana fritters.

Compare the forwards. Tex, Fogarty, Thilthorpe, Rachelle, Rankin and Pedlar. Fritta, JVR, Smith, Kozzie, Spargo and ANB. There is another reason for us to worry.

I know that’s why I referred to large one sided crowds, wherever played.

That’s what I said, the large one sided crowd affects umpires. Where was the game played when the Crows got the umpiring? Adelaide.

I will suggest something that doesn’t suck. We play Pies in first final and win and Port also wins, meaning we could make a GF playing all games at the G and one of, if not both of Pies and Port miss the GF.

Matthew Nicks would be proud and filthy at the same time. It’s not coincidence that certain clubs get an armchair umpiring ride constantly. I will never believe that, the evidence is overwhelming, it’s not rub of the green or a one off, it is blatantly constant. The reason is most likely to do with the large one sided crowd.

Agree and 21-11 frees to Pies and goal taken off Rankine and Fogarty and Dawson belted, as ball coming and yet Pies get 3 soft goals from frees in last quarter. That said we need Pies and Port to beat everyone below us so good for us.

Oh yes another one and 50 and goal.

Umpires killing Crows 19-10 and even arc just disallowed a Rankine goal. So predictable.
  12. We certainly don’t have too many one on ones in our F50. Some of that is due to the type of entry, for example quick turnover, catching players up the ground or just isolating players which we seen to not do a lot.
  13. We can forgive the forward coach for poor disposal, that is on the players. We can safely assume no coach says butcher the ball. Its more about set up, tactics and positioning for a forward coach.

Liam Henry has been good the last few weeks. Hope he is playing with his best mate next year.

Seriously , one game a year there gives us the same advantage as the Cats with 8 games there and training on it all the time and we are allowed no excuses.

I blame the Dees Team Manager for that record loss.

I can bring it back. I don’t mind the odd Pina Colada, when I’m caught in the rain.
  24. I would like to know who is responsible for game day moves. I would also like to know why Petty wasn’t moved forward, probably on to Stewart, when Cameron went off. I would have thought it was the obvious move. Did we instruct the players to play wet weather footy and if we did, did they address it at breaks, given the players clearly weren’t listening? The Cats played wet weather footy with more kicks than handball and constant aggression at the man with the ball and often without it. They kicked it off the ground whenever possible to gain metres, rather than try a chain of risky handballs. I would also like to know what the rationale for Spargo as sub was and then, why we didn’t take off a ruckman. Guess I will never know the answers. We need to get back to reasonable disposal and goal kicking accuracy asap.

Could you pick me up some goat's cheese while you are there.
