Yep. Completely lost it and was off his head.

    Yes.

Still remember that and Slug Jordon couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

So Dockers are an absolute certainty in the Derby this week, if the Eagles want multiple picks. They would still get Curtin if they win however, as Roos would take Reid. I am not sure how we could do a deal though, if Roos and Hawks threaten to take Curtin. You would need Curtin to say he will likely return home after first two years. Looks pretty hard to me.

So we have played the most games at Kardinia Park in the last 30 or so years besides Geelong and the second most at Manuka and Blundstone besides the home team, while at the same time Pies, Blues, Bombers, Tigers and Hawks have virtually avoided all 3 grounds. Sounds fair to me.

Think we have played there 6 of last 7 years. How often have the non Kardinia Park playing teams played there?

    Interesting point.

Could we lease Oscar Allen for the rest of this season?
  9. Absolutely!

Thanks Webber. A Lisfranc foot injury is, or can be worse, is that right? PS: Can’t you blokes design a more durable body?

Thanks Webber for the explanations. What I saw was clearly a foot that Petty was holding/feeling as he sat on the bench. I therefore assumed it wasn’t his ankle. Can you please explain what syndesmosis is.
  12. The pity now is we could win all three and still cop a final at the Gabba, if the Lions also win their last three with a better %. Unfortunately I am a spilt milk sort of guy and keep looking back at the Giants, Dockers and Port games. Anyway, we will be barracking hard for Lions’ opponents the next three games.

That’s the area he was holding on bench. Not that I would know but it appeared to be a bending of his foot not and ankle. We will know soon enough.

They will get a win next week against Eagles.
  15. His foot. In a moon boot.
  16. Another garbage kick, a 15 metre pass from Sparrow has cost us our forward. Only question how long?
  17. 40% ball efficiency. Not one mark in F50. Quarter of sh-t.

They will keep him. He won them their flag. Success is everything.

We needed Pies to beat a few of the teams around us. It gets harder now and then we play 3 teams in good form the last 3 games. Win all of our games left in H and A and if no injuries, we will be 2nd and cherry ripe, for a flag tilt.

    Depends in what coloured jersey.

That was if we get rid of Grundy.
  22. Can’t believe I am saying this, but Melk has added an ā€œitā€ factor. He is experienced and has footy smarts, can take a grab and kick goals on both feet from anywhere and at distance. His biggest problem is staying in the game. Whether this is his last year, or he gets another, remains to be seen. Petty can’t be expected to kick 6 each week, but with JVR we have a couple of strong marking key forwards, who can contribute. Fritta we know and when we add Kozzie, Chandler and yes ANB, we have an ok forward line. Wirh Clarry back, Tracc will see a bit more of the F50 and that again improves the forward line and adds unpredictability, making it harder for the opposition. We have Jefferson to come, hopefully next year and imo, we still need to draft another key forward to develop, so we have 3 on the list. I am assuming BBB will retire and Tom might as well, or play out the last year of his contract, maybe more for Casey than in the AFL. Petty as our pillar key forward, now that he has had a breakout game, looks likely for the short term future at least.

We would have to bring an experienced one in to cover for a couple of years, until Verrall and FW are ready.

Agree, I just can’t see a regular spot for him and assume he will look around.

    No.
