Well Selwood and Cotchin absolutely disagree with you, saying they planned for it all week in their finals, to stop star opposition players. They continually targeted players to fatigue them and take their effectiveness away. They won flags doing it. They are not getting 3 and 11. Why would they get overs for McKay and then get 11 as a bonus? I thought it meant they would get 11 instead of 3 for losing McKay, as other clubs were screaming.

It could be as simple as a Board member saying he thought the Gus incident greatly affected the Pies game. Then the click bait starts. Of course it affected the game. We lost a versatile 30 possession player, 3 minutes into the game, which stopped Petracca going forward and the replacement had 6 possessions and no impact at all. We lost by 7 points.
