Robbo - Played against Scarlett, one of the best FB's to have played the game. I'd hope that one bad day against a player of his calibre wouldn't be the basis of his delisting. Bruce - Has a terrific work rate, his disposal is very good for the most part, could teach Brock a thing or two. Brock - Does not seem right. This has been his worst year so far. Take the rest of the year off, get fit, get your body right and come back ready to fire next year. J-Mac - The least inspirational captain in the league. She was a disgrace! Might as well have put the Geelong Cheersquad leader in the box! I though her best work was when she mistook Matthew Bate as Clint Bartram !!!! I have no problem with female callers, but I don't want the cheersquad in the commentary box. If she's as good as they say, why don't they get her to call a game with any other team than Geelong?

Must be time to kick into List Management mode! We should all call the Herald Sun and tell them we saw Davey, Bruce, Jurrah, Green, Grimes, Morton, McLean & Jamar at the Spearmint Rhino until 2am. 7 weeks intra club suspension for all of them.

With you all the way dandeeman. From the limited amount I have seen of Jack so far, I would say he appeared to be a bit timid. To qualify that statement, I don't think he is soft, I just think he is feeling his way through his first year of senior football. I would love to see Bailey pop him in the midfield for a game just to give him the confidence to attack the ball with a bit more conviction and get used to the physicality of the game. I think this would help cure him of any trepidations he may have. I'm sure someone will jump on and call me stupid for posting an opinion that differs to thiers, but good on you for asking the question. It would be nice if people stuck to arguing thier points and opinions rather than stoop to name calling, it does nothing to endear me to thier argument.

Watch his performance throughout the whole day and it is screamingly obvious that he put alot of money on Port Adelaide. He should never again be allowed to grace an AFL field in any official capacity. Umpire Sully was so embarrassed about the Rodan incident, he made up a free kick from the next ball up! Joeboy, you were extremely harsh on Bate. I thought he played an important part in a fair few of the goals we kicked. He worked hard, presented well and provided ample opportunities for our forwards and he did it all day.

Vozzo is a retard! My favorite part of yesterday's game was when he twice blew time on so he could stop and talk to the Geelong player who doing nothing that infringed upon the laws of the game to tell him to settle down. If a player told an umpire how to do thier job, he'd get reported (ref Ricky Pettard)! Also loved the bit where they were telling Gary Ablett to get out of the 5mtr area when his teammate had the ball and Ablett was running through after the handball receive. It's a disgrace that these guys think they can tell the players how to go about the game. Do me and the rest of the football going public a favour and shut the f**k up and just adjudicate! Thankyou for editing my post for 'accuracy'. If you call yelling at Jim at 3/4 time seeking a meeting, then perhaps we need to asses your level of 'accuracy'. Nowhere does Mick state he sought a secondary meeting with Jim. I would have thought if he had, he would have also complained about that to the HUN. Interesting side note, I noticed the HUN were very happy to hang Mick out to dry by reporting that he had called into them. If they wanted to be more sympathetic to his cause, they would not have noted that at all.

At the end of the day factions will always argue, as they think they are always right and can do a better job than the others. Totally self serving. The way I see it, you can break it down like this. A) Did Jim accurately represent the clubs previous record in relation to women in football? NO B) Was Mick yelling at Jim at 3/4 time the best way to deal with his grievance? NO C) Did Mick seek any further meeting with Jim before running to the muck rakers at the HUN? NO D) Did Jim take the opportunity to set the public record straight when the HUN called? NO Sounds to me like big boys behaving badly. Honestly now, who does this bad behaviour serve? Certainly not the club..... Factions can fight all they like, the only thing that matters to me is "LONG LIVE THE MIGHTY MELBOURNE DEMONS!"

I don't see the point in swinging the axe too heavily this year. The draft isn't going to go as deep as previous years. Why not hang on the older guys who can still teach the kids a thing or two? Jmac, Robbo & Wheels all have a wealth of knowledge on the field, we need to make sure the kids get a chance to learn from them.

I think Wheatley, Whelan & Bell have far more to be concerned about at the end of the year. They must get fit and firing before the season closes out. Robbo is important to have around for the development of the younger guys. Ditto for Jmac, he's been a servant of the club for so long and never stops working hard, when he says, I'm done, then let him go, until then, he has plenty to teach. Dunn could be a good depth player when we suffer from injuries.
