  1. There were several incorrect disposal decisions not paid against The Crows in the first half that had my 2 young kids scared s@$!less such was my rage at the TV. Infuriating.
  2. Funnily enough , Harmes is the one we can`t afford to lose based on his efforts last weekend. The only likely replacement is AVB and I reckon that would be a huge win for the Crows. 2 years out, 2 games in the 2s and back into a finals like match, he can`t be ready in my opinion but the fact they`ve named him shows how bare the cupboard is and he is every chance of getting a call up.
  3. Players are not leaving this club unless their papers are stamped. Success is imminent in the coming years and they don't want to miss out. Not once did I fear losing him despite the rubbish in the media of late. Well done Gus !
  4. If Viney played on Saturday night we win the game comfortably in my opinion. I'm still filthy that either he or the club (or both) have mismanaged his injury once again . I doubt we'll ever know the truth but the mind boggles that we are in the same scenario from 12 months ago yet again from him playing sore with the same injury.
  5. Dees held a kids footy clinic Sunday morning with loads of players in attendance. Max wasn't there due to being crook I was told .
  6. Not even a fine, what a farce. Hawkins knew what he was doing, no doubt
  7. Any chance we can introduce a pre-posting breathalyzer onto Demonland???
  8. I cried as an 18 year old that day. Whilst I didn't cry yesterday, I'd say this is the 2nd most shattered I've felt after a loss.
  9. He seemed to be hurting more than anyone. Was Touhy his opponent??
  10. Has anyone else seen the footage of the brawl in the crowd after the siren. A dozen or more from both teams supporters but seemed centered around a Dees fan that was on the concrete floor with a number of Cats fans on top of him with boots being laid in. Ugly stuff and a bitter pill to swallow after a gut wrenching loss.
  11. One of the more heartbreaking losses in my 50 years. Effort can't be questioned, but the there are still massive question marks about our collective mentality. We missed Viney terribly tonight.
  12. 12 wins won't cut it. I reckon 13 wins we play finals, can't see our % going south of 115.
  13. Not so sure we can blame Darwin for these injuries. Viney said this week he was sore prior to The Dockers game and IIRC didn't someone in DL say Stretch was advised to 'run the soreness out " in that same game? Injuries happen and yeah we are likely to get more, we've had a pretty good run until the past week or so . I'd like to think we have the cattle to cover these injuries but we are not quite there yet, so the calibre of these players are hard to replace. I'm all for getting rid of this fixture though, at the very least we MUST have a bye afterwards.
  14. Agree, and with 9 tackles he's earnt another crack despite the slow start .
  15. Happy to play there, just give us the bye the following week . I'm very nervous about how we recover for The Dogs match. Their pace could destroy us when we tire, and we will.
  16. You could add in the goal scored after half time siren when Clarrie gave away a 50m penalty. The free they paid prior to Clarries brainfart was push in the back against Tyson after The Saints player incorrectly disposed of the ball, Tyson was nowhere near in his back, he landed on the ground next to him. Shocker.
  17. Met him on a holiday last year when they were chasing JWatts before they picked him up. Very approachable, likeable bloke.
  18. Rapt for the bloke. Good Luck Trenners lets hope he plays some finals this year.
  19. Gets worse every time I look at it. Look at the response of Hoges TMac and Melk, there was only one person out of 40,000 that thought that was a free against Melk, everyone else there thought it was his free.
  20. Yeah I tend to agree, I`m actually more confident of playing finals after this loss than before the game! I think 5 more wins will be enough and I`d expect our % this year to be around the 115 - 125%, so I reckon we will be playing finals.
  21. Yeah I`m not sure everyone has read the article, he`s no certainty to be picked but good luck young fella IF you get the call up.
  22. After watching the game live I thought Gus was clear BOG but having watched the replay, Hogans game was enormous. The ground he covers is remarkable, almost Riewoldt like already and he must be an absolute nightmare to match up against for the opposition. He`s in rare form and will only improve.
  23. Gus laughed off these rumours barely 3 weeks ago. Nothing to see here
