I think he will probably be a bargain wherever he goes. IMO the best out-of-contract player we have. Just isnt working for him at present. At 196cm and 24(?) yrs old, his best is in front of him, but still may be a year off. I expect him to be in the ones at Adelaide and pushing into top 25 if at Pies. He is friends with Darcy Moore already and they may work together well.

Id rather keep Harmes than Melksham. I expect Melk costs more too.

I really believe he would be a very good fit in our forward line. 27 turning 28 next year, he came from the rookie draft and I would expect he would want <= what we pay TMac, Melksham and Fritsch.

I honestly believe the players are being treated softly and given mixed messages. Get the ball inside 35 from goal. It may not be pretty but Take marks that you should. Handball accurately. Kick to the spread position not to a pack. One in, two out in packs. Handball outside the pack. At last training, kick a goal from 35 metres, then go to the rooms. If not go to the back of the line. Once someone has missed 3 in a row, 6AM swim for the whole team. Do it every day till no one misses easy goals. We need Clarkson or my preference, Dean Cox. The man is super intense, you could see it when he played and "rested' on the bench. Always in the game, barking instructions. We need a big change.

Cant believe this is not resolved for so long. If Smith had been given half the chances Tom Mac has been gifted in the last 2 YEARS he would be a good tall KP player by now or at least moved on! Kozzie has has plenty of time and has had a heap of praise. All sizzle no sausage. He just runs to the wrong spots. Its obvious. Spargo gets to the right spot but is a little fumbley at speed. Bedford looked great early in the year why is he not tried? On a windy day with a hard surface, small fwds should be waxing in, getting goals. We lost because we had many players not running hard enough. Wied just wont chase and Melksham will but never catches, reminds me of Frawley. The other obvious reason we wont go far is we cannot hit targets and we seem to praise each other for "nearly' taking marks. There is not enough acid placed on this team when they lose. Only one side suffered from that wind. Wont take long for the coach to blame conditions. It makes me spew up!

Can someone explain why we cant ask the ruckman to punch it in a certain direction, say towards our goals? Preuss does not have Gawn's finesse and to say to the midfielders I am going to swipe it left, right or forwards must give us forewarning even if it does not come off without a hitch. Doggies midfielders will be expecting the ball to land in the circle as a result of a nil-nil ruck contest and a probable scrum.. i know i loved Strawbs and I havent moved on but why not give it a go? serious question.
