NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Look at it this way. All the Pies supporters will now have their hopes up and be dreaming of a Premiership, which will make them being bundled out of the finals all the more sweet for the rest of us.

I've just been reading Roger's Thesaurus. It was educative, informative, enlightening, illuminating, instructive and edifying.

It would be a shame for the thread to reach 100 pages with a nothing post.- CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Crikey, WoJu looks very developed in the upper body for a first year player.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I've nothing to add. Just trying to get this thread to 100 pages. edit: Bugger.- 2022 Injury List
I think Clarry will be fine if he keeps off his thumb for a week or so and avoids all hitch-hiking.- Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Gus is a Restricted Free Agent, which means we can match any offer for him. If we did that and he still wanted to leave, his prospective new club would need to negotiate a trade with us.- POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
If you'd told me before the game that Hawkins, Cameron, Stengle and Dangerfield would kick two goals between them, I reckon I might have had a largish bet on Melbourne.- Is our offense a problem?
I've never coached, but I reckon we'd be better off not kicking it directly to the opponents' spare defender.- 2022 Injury List
Just bruised, according to Goody. I hope he's right.- Carlton Draft: Nathan Jones at Port Arlington
Daisy helped Nhill to their first win in three years. I suspect they had a large night at the club! Sidebar: The motel in Nhill is called The Zero Inn. I'm not kidding.- Carlton Draft: Nathan Jones at Port Arlington
This generated a massive amount of interest in the area and the game attracted a whopping crowd, which was a much needed financial boost for the struggling Saints and a huge thrill for his temporary team mates. Eddie did his bit by booting six goals, albeit in a losing team. He then stuck around to sign autographs, chat with fans and have a beer with the locals. It's an excellent initiative and I hope Portlarlington gains many positives from Chunk's appearance.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I don't think we have one at the moment.- TEAMS: Rd 17 vs Geelong

Well argued opinion piece here from Jake Niall on the Jackson and Brayshaw situations. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/why-luke-jackson-shouldn-t-be-priority-for-fremantle-and-melbourne-20220706-p5azmq.html- TEAMS: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Come on SWYL, you've been around long enough to know that the named team bears no resemblance to how they will line up on matchday. Might as well just name a squad of 22 these days.- Training Ground?
How about the Van Demons?- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
The Coodabeens in the 1980s were the first ones to run with this concept to my knowledge. I once shared a team on this forum consisting of dud brothers at Melbourne but it angered and upset so many posters that I had to ask Andy to delete the post.- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Was this deliberate, WJ?- Is David Noble the new Mark Neeld?

We could even do it in Melbourne colours if that would help. Demonstone. - Farewell Luke Jackson
