  1. Another rippa Andy! Huge thanks to you, all Demonlanders who posed the questions, and of course, to Jake for his considered and informative responses. We are indeed fortunate to have Demonland as our primary point of contact and information about our beloved Dees! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  2. Too many tears! RIP young fella. A DEMON forever! ❤️💙
  3. I’m sitting here, many months later, with tears in my eyes (again!). A brilliant production, about a brilliant team of young women who did us all proud. Let’s go Premiership (AFL) and Premiership (AFLW) in 2023. ❤️💙
  4. Great listening as usual guys. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  5. Really looking forward to the Pod, as always guys. Please solve the following dilemmas so that I can sleep easy tonight: * Tommo found himself in ‘no man’s land’ far too often vs the Hawks, and is ‘treacle slow’. I really worry about how he will hold up in September! On the other hand, he seems pivotal to freeing up Rick Lever, to play his intercept role to perfection, as he did on the weekend. Is playing Tommo a compromise that we will just have to ‘wear’, because he is our best available option? * TMac played a solid game for Casey on the weekend, in only his second game back from an extended injury break. Fritta seems likely to return for the Sydney game, and is an automatic selection, when right. Melks has been excellent as both a defensive and goal kicking forward in Fritta’s absence. Joel Smith adds something ‘different’ to our forward line, with his pace and attack in the ball. Given that the Sydney game is our only ‘dress rehearsal’ before the Finals, who plays and who misses out next weekend? I don’t think we can play all of them together in finals.
  6. As good as Mitchell might be as an emerging young coach (according to the media, at least!), I thought Goody clearly out-coached him today.
  7. 6. Lever - outstanding intercepting game. Possibly saved our bacon. 5. Melksham - fantastic as a defensive and attacking forward. 4. Rivers - fantastic again, and going from strength to strength. 3. Neal-Bullen - anyone who criticises his disposal today is a ‘bum’. 2. Brayshaw - purely and simply a work-horse, and did almost everything right. 1. Viney - another ‘lead by example / heart & soul’ game from our VC Apols: Sparrow, Langdon, McVee
  8. We just need to maintain our defensive structures reasonably well, and win more than our share of contests (just like we have for every other game this season except vs Essendon in Adelaide), and we beat the Hawks by 20 to 30 points. Simple, but why the Hell am I so nervous?
  9. Spargo. We need him in, and he was very good for Casey on the weekend.
  10. Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. Insightful and very enjoyable, as always. Thanks guys.
  11. As we approach September, the Demonland pod takes on even more significance to adoring Demon fans. Keep up the great work guys! My question, which is probably already covered above: IMO, finding our optimal forward line mix will be a key to how far we can progress in September. What does this mix look like, given current form and player availability?
  12. I remember Jeff as a real ‘goer’ on the footy field. Incredibly sad to learn that he is no longer with us. Vale Jeff.
  13. Dees by 30, to establish themselves as the ‘real deal’ for anyone who currently doubts their credentials. September is coming, and so are the Dees!
  14. Toby Greene by the length of the Flemington strait. The epitome of love him but hate him!
  15. Very happy with the selections. I would have had Hibbo in the 22, and Joel as the Sub, but our MC know far more about these things than I do. Onward and upward we march!
  16. Very poor representations imo. Both R’mond and C’wood have teeth, just for starters.
  17. I feel for MFC, I feel for Petts, l feel for us supporters, and I feel [censored] right now!! None-the-less, we will band together, and overcome this setback. That’s what good teams do, and we are a bloody good team! Go Demons. We will overcome!
  18. Sorry guys, I can't count! Here's the other one 🌟
  19. Another top liner guys. Irresistible listening for all true Demons. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  20. 6. Gawn: fittingly, the ‘supremo’ in ‘Ruck Round’. 5. Petracca: the ‘dynamo’ with the power to consistently change things up, when needed 4. Viney: continued to carry our midfield on his broad shoulders in the absence of Clarry. 3. Brayshaw: love the consistency he is providing as a mid. 2. Pickett: the magic is still there, and the gameday ‘influence’ is returning at the right time of the year. 1. Neal-Bullen: the usual ‘Nibbler’ work rate, with 3 goals to boot. Very, very unlucky: Hunter Very unlucky: Chandler
  21. With heads in the right place from the get-go, we will win by 7+ goals. Heads in the wrong place, then anything could happen in this crazy football season.
  22. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as usual guys. Thank you!
  23. A true legend, who captivated lovers of our great game with his on-field feats, regardless of their team allegiance.
