  1. Agreed! Lets go in the polar opposite direction. Has GAJ re-signed?
  2. I don't think so unless the belt on the no DH rule has been seriously loosened
  3. Just this morning I was thinking our back half is swimming along nicely (pun intended) but was wondering who will take the gorilla forwards. I think this lad will be groomed for the job in the coming years. Just need to have Lumumba floating across to double team for a year or 2.
  4. Hang on, just let me finish this burnout....... Nope, I can spell!
  5. I guess we will have a better idea when/if someone of note doesn't nominate for the draft.
  6. Well, after the underwhelming finish to the trade period who will we take with Pre Season Draft Pick 2?
  7. Although this deal may leave some a little cold, people just need to chill out bit.
  8. Sorry, needed to up the productivity today. Went and checked the mail box and the postie still hadn't been......
  9. and use pick 23 on duggan
  10. That would be a massive win for us! But still not too unreasonable....
  11. He is a ball magnet and by far the most gettable of the lot too.....
  12. Yep. Mahoney saying to GWS "You need talls now with Giles and Boyd gone. *Pick 3 in return for a good mid will net you either Mcartin or Wright. *Pick 2 & 3 for a couple of your top mids and we'll then pay 23 for Frost, will net you almost whoever you want, ball is in your court".
  13. The only logical explanation is that Mahoney is still going hard for an A grade mid and needs 23 as the clincher. Most likely for a GWS player and needs a resolution on whether the Saints trade pick 1 to them or not.
  14. I have an inkling that this is what is holding the trade up. GWS may know this and are asking for overs.
  15. I think it would be widely known by clubs that Lever is the most talented kid in this draft pool. Big call but i reckon could be a bona fide star. A cross between Nat Fyfe and Jeremy Cameron. The double edged sword is that he could go that way or (hopefully not) end up with issues like Anthony Morabito. Risk vs Reward, yes, but I say we go for it. Players with the full compliment of attributes don't grow on trees.
  16. Although unlikely after his recent call to arms with his current list. The answer is Rory Sloane. Grew up in the eastern suburb of Knox. EDIT - This may have legs actually. Simon Goodwin was his Captain and mentor for his first 2 years at the Crows. I would never indulge in such pie in the sky rumours but ever since we landed Roosy....
  17. Did you read the rest of the post or are you going to blame the red wine for your lack of brain matter again?
  18. BTW 'that' tackle was on the fastest player in the game. By a long shot. Plus in reality we can't really take his performances in 2012/13 into account too readily as Neeld made him play as a purely defensive player. His natural game is actually as an attacking inside mid and marking high half forward. Other teams know this and are pricing him accordingly.
  19. Happy to trade if the end result makes us a better team. Though some on here are being disrepectful to a 'very' loyal young player. How the hell does anybody know how good he will be when/if he gets over his injuries? Risk vs Reward on both sides of the coin. Only time and a trade or lack thereof will tell. It's up because we and obviously Richmond and Adelaide think he is more valuable than you do.Gotta give to get.
