  1. That doesn’t sound right at all. Don’t we just have to match the salary of the club that puts an offer forward or something to that effect? Walking to the PSD and MFC getting duped would be a major FU move by any player let alone Judd. Doesn’t sound like he is going any way but the AFL needs to close that loop hole by offering a compensation as a minimum. I don’t see how that’s different to clubs that bid on players like the Essendon / North deal for McKay.
  2. I don’t think walking to the the draft threat is a valid option? Isn’t that only for RFA’s? Even so we would get compensation would we not? Also that would be a royal middle finger to the club from McVee, which I doubt he would do. Only way this happens is if we ask for something stupid like pick 1. I’d say Judd is worth WC’s 2nd round pick in 2026 or maybe a late 1st if they were able to get one.
  3. I agree we have been really weak physically in the midfield. We have lost the ability to defend in the midfield. It’s what Dunkley is to the Brisbane Lions midfield, Brayshaw to Freo. Oliver, Trac and even Vines are being exposed going the other way.
  4. It’s the right move - getting rid of Goody - but boy does he make you question the validity of it. Has maintained a very professional viewpoint - much like a live job interview. If he does goto GWS, Hogan and Bedford must be feeling a bit weird as no doubt Goody had a role in their departures.
  5. Laying into Langford? They really are scooping the bottom of the barrel. Suspect they have money on another rising star nominee.
  6. There’s no way on earth Green has the required power to make an executive decision. I’m not familiar m the clubs constitution but if he went against the board, he would be outed with a vote of no confidence and Goody would remain. Also I believe Green to have the clubs best interest at heart - he doesn’t appear to be a ‘back room’ type figure playing politics. So I call a big BS on Caro’s Arrow, which seems to miss the target all a bit too much these days. It’s also Ch 7’s strategy with Kane and co onboard, which is all about click bait style journalism. If any Ch7 afl post pop up on my social feed, I always lay into them, which often results in them deleteting and reposting the same story to get rid of the old comments - pathetic.
  7. I just hope he can continue to grow. He seems to be switched on from a preparation an off field perspective so will Make sure no stone is unturned.
  8. We need to merge Windsors pace and agility with Bowey's kicking. Ill give Dr Nick a call and see what he can muster.
  9. Back to the days of happy with the effort in that defeat. We just dont know how to win close games. Smashed in clearances by Doggies. Our boys made to look like witches hats. That cost us in the end. On the upside, we went toe-to-toe with the best forward offensive team in the comp. Our attacking had some semblance of structure and method, but boy were we fumbly and couldnt hold our feet. Doggies are not going anywhere with that backline even if they make the 8. If we had any midfield presence / maturity today (like most top 8 sides do) we would have absolutely smashed them on turnover.
  10. In the back anyone?
  11. That’s game. Off a 5 day break vs 7 day for Doggies.
  12. Pulling it out of their [censored] now.
  13. The umps missed about 4 frees in that passage
  14. Can we win a clearance
  15. Time for bang bang bang?
  16. Was thinking the same thing. It’s our system.
  17. Doggies defence is woeful. We are hardly going in and scoring easily.
  18. Langford… just [censored]
  19. This coast to coast footy is a terrible spectacle.
  20. Went way too soon. My bad.
  21. Have we won a clearance? Anywhere?
  22. Wheels falllem off. Here comes an 8-0 goal quarter. Coach killer
  23. storey of the year continues- our midfield is d-grade.
  24. Our defensive zone is in no mans land.
