Nothing new. Trac had the exit interview, no trades were mentioned. But they talked about Hawks and a top 10 pick. The storey was positioned around Hawks pursuit of a top midfielder. They had Butters, Merrett, Walsh and Trac. All others were kind of a no despite Butters and Walsh being pre agents. However when it came to Trac Toomey was all I think it’s time to break up this marriage. I don’t care if Trac stays or goes, but why are our players spoken about this way… It’s like there is an unspoken truth they we are mentally abusing our players and the media are doing their best to push the narrative publically be abuse there is a gag order in effect. We have been in a holding pattern for 2 years on Clarry. If he was going to 'come good' i think we would have seen something by now. Last year was due to 'missed preseason' and i recalled the pre-season game against Freo and thought, yep Clarry is back. But it has been a different Clarry since he done his hammy back in '23. I do want him to come good as we know the type of player he can be. Even in the modern game, he still has the abiltiy to turn games on their head. I just dont think it will happen - he will have a good game now and then, but i doubt it will be consistent. His whole fall-from-grace, does fascinate me (when im not frustrated by it). Is it body, mind, skillset, game-style... would love to know.

S.Smith will be better connected and i think will have much better influence with HQ. I dont want to be whingers but more or less stand up for ourselves. Kozzy suspension and May's this year was highway robbery.

The team cannot cope with an open gamestyle. its unfamiliar territory and they panic rather than embrace the chaos. We lost the game tonight because: a) we coughed up the ball way too much and in silly paces -> this boils down to skill. b) when the Pies coughed it up, we didnt punish them enough c) because of a, our defence couldnt cope with the rebound as there was too much space.

Watched his game closely. Not sure what the hype is about Juddy. If he stays then great. But we shouldn't be doing stupid 4 or 5 year contracts for this guy. We have too many on our list that disappear after signing a big contract. 2 or 3 year or we get West Coasts 2nd round pick and shake hands.

I'd rather keep Oliver over Trac. i have withered and waned on this all year. But im sick to death of Trac not playing with intent / agression. That last kick from May which went to sidebottom - Trac should have absolutely cleaned him up. He would have been protected by the footy act and all. He had the perfect opp to get some type of revenge. All night he played with fear running through him. I really do hope he requests a trade over anybody else. i want him gone.
