Farewell Judd McVee
all good @Ghostwriter you could not have known. If he was going he was never going to admit it - even to you. I know I wouldn’t. I mean what’s to gain. The bloke is the type of player you don’t want around the club… he’ll always have one eye out the door. better now than in 3-4 years time. We should push hard for pick 11 but unlikely unless we return our 2nd rounder or F2 l. we should otherwise be asking for their 2nd and F2 as Juddy isn’t a first rounder.

The cats will always give up the inside / contested game as their 1-wood has been scoring from turnovers - in particular defensive half stuff. Whilst we herald the Lions offesnive game yesterday, you cannot deny their growth on the defence side. Before last year, the Lions were terrible defensively. Yesterday they proved that they could bring a really strong level defence.

"I hope this doesn't sound like sour grapes" - Chris Scott
I know its not the same level, but this is very comparable with Trac and his spleen injury that if left untreated for days/weeks could have ultimately cost him his life. But hear me out. Broken arms are most of the time straight forward fractures that heal good enough to restore function. But occasional and rarely, there can be complications. Severe complications that could ultimately cost Cameron his arm. Were the medico's convinced it was just a fracture? Similar to how medico's thought Tracs was just some cracked ribs and at worst a collapsed lung? It was incredibly irresponsible for Geelong to let Cameron back on the field. Will they cop any heat from the media? No... in fact quite the opposite, it will be applauded for its courage and bravery. STUPID!

The only time of the year I have to watch the Ch7 broadcast and think to myself how did we ever put up with Ch7 commentary on the Fox games.

Agreed. Crows need to get GCS pick 6 or 7 which will take a massive offer from them. That would then need to be coupled with their F1. Getting two top 10s in one year will be unlikely

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
he has most definitely lost his standing in the playing group. With his carry on last year , it would be really hard to come back from that. He maybe able to repair the relationships with hus close mates, but not with all the senior team. There is nothing else that hasn’t changed , so suspect this may have a lot to do with it.

I think it depends on the total salary. if it’s let’s than $2M total then I chose to think of it as an extra year to pay it off allowing us to front load etc. list spots are overrated it’s the total salary that you need to consider.

So i suppose the extent of which he wants out will be measured against his willing to take a paycut. That is of course assuming we will not entertain any deal where we have to pay some of his wage. If it was 6&7 from GCS, i reckon we would pitch in up to 200K per annum. But Trac also needs to consider whether he is willing to take hit to make his services more lucrative.

Sam Flanders
Wow Pick 7 for Flanders does change the talk around Trac's pick worth. As others have mentioned 6 and 7 for Trac is very enticing. Even with the academy picks i'd still think that these picks stay in the top 10. GCS would be mad to give both of those picks for Trac though.

Or its an admission that he needs some onfield leadership around him..some direction on how to play the role.

So you’re happy to finish 10-16 every year for the next decade?
