We are just so bad all over the ground.

Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
I reckon Oliver's the biggest chance to go. Lever & Trac should be traded, but i suspect the new coach would like to keep them. McVee is staying. Ill wager GW's house on it :D

I want some fight. I don’t expect to win, but if we play like we did in round 24 last year …

TRAINING: Thursday 21st August 2025
Could you just imagine a celebration like this now in the AFL. Dillon would lose his marbles unless it was one certain player from a certain team.

Thanks GW for all your stories and trips to Gosch's to bring us the latest. I feel like I'm 12 years old whenever i read your snippets of interactions with the team and coaches.

Choco Williams axed
Thanks Mark. You genuinely did all you could to get the best out of these boys. However like Goody, i think your message fell on deaf ears. Wish you all the best. To the incoming head of development, may i suggest bring some concrete bags, a few skits and training drills inspired by the squid games, because it going to take something drastic to improve the skills of this side.

Not even funny.

PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Im hearing there is quite some disharmony within the playing group. Obviously i cannot say what/why but it does go to some extent explaining the Pies recent performances. Geez i hope their dreams come tumbling down and we knock them out of the top 4 with an away game to play the Suns or GWS in the QF.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Now if you fined a player say $50K or even a $100K but didnt suspend him, do you think the fans would care? I think not, they just want Rankine to play the game. But Rankine would care because its a significant hit to the pocket. I think this still gets through to the players without sanctioning the club and its fanbase indirectly. The AFL have absolutely butchered this. it is just another botched job under Dylan. With every year, it is clear this Dylan is going down in the history books as one of the more incapable AFL CEO's.

PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
The Pies are critically vulnerable. Hill won’t play and I suspect will request a trade EOY. if we take the right mindset we will beat them. Pies are ripe for the picking.

Farewell Judd McVee
I think we have got Curnow, McKay H.Reid all but sewn up. We also had NAS's in the bag but when he backed out last minute, our media department had to redraft the whole comms announcement... I beleive we are just waiting back from the graphics dept before its made official on socials.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I have no doubt Trac will be better next year - but will he return to his best again? only he knows. Is he also selfless enough to step aside from the midfield and play more forward given his poor disposal giving the likes of Kozzy, Langford, Lindsay, Windsor and Rivers more run through the middle? He is clearly disgruntled there.
-
Farewell Judd McVee
Well if that is the case GW, then im not surprised at the state of the playing group. He will be the best ruckman in the competition of all time by the time he is done. As much as you would expect humility in that, i think any average Joe/Jane would struggle without letting it get to their heads in some way. Not an excuse - just an observation.
-
Farewell Judd McVee
That is not true at all. Gawn was part of the crew to get Grundy vin and he sacrificed his role for the good of the team. If Grundy was playing like he is now, he would not have been traded.

Farewell Judd McVee
This is my take on it as well. Players that demand role changes, should be shown the exit door. Every player should have the view to play where the coach tells them to. If he was useful elsewhere in a more damaging role i.e. HHF or wing or inside mid - better than what we already have in the 22, wouldn't we play him and develop him there? i mean this mindset annoys the [censored] out of me. It started with Trac years ago where he was playing as a CHF and wanted more midfield time. This playing group has absolutely lost the essence of what it takes to be a high performing team.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
trouble is, you can only get so fit in 1 pre-season. Oliver was meant to go on a fitness camp last, which never eventuated. Im not sure what that didnt happen, but on the surface may indidcate that he doesnt have the drive anymore to push himself beyond the limit. Our entire midfield need to completely reinvent themselves fitness wise if we are to play the transition game. In so many of our games this year , our midfielders have been completley out of position and unable to keep pace with the game. Its why we get scored so heavily against as team rebound right through our zone.

NON-MFC: Round 23
If our team has any pride, they will give it a red hot next week to try and take Collingwood out of the finals.

NON-MFC: Round 23
That Pies player hits an inside 50 target that has 3 crows players within arms reach, whilst getting a bump. This is the level of kicking you’d expect from AFL players.

The List Manager Tim Lamb
Yeah that was an absolute jaw dropper. Especially considering Logan Morris went at Pick 31. I mean who are these players watching in the juniors. I get the whole can the player cope with AFL intensity and strength but Morris has all of this in spades. Does my head in.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Well kind of. Modern game relies elite kicking and the odd turnover. With the amount of turnovers we give teams our defense has absolutely no chance. the game last against the Doggies was a bit of furphy - they are bog ordinary behind the ball. I’m 100% convinced there are fractures in the group. The lack of team effort is worrying. Whoever is not head first into a rebound next year and extra training and preseason sessions ,F them all off over trade week. I’m sick of the pea hearted tackles week after week. You don’t need skill to apply an effective tackle , it’s all determination.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
The problems are all bare to see. The playing group asked to more attacking, fine that is the modern game. But with our skills we are turnover merchants. The entire team bare 1 or 2 players sometimes. No defensive unit on earth can hold up to teams that are effective at scores from turnovers. How on earth did Goodwin think we were close? Its a good thing he is no longer around as we would be digging a deeper whole that will be difficult to get out of. We need to goto cash converters and see what we can get for our old midfield. I here Trac has some connections.

NON-MFC: Round 23
It’s been said a plenty but Logan Morris at pick #31 is a blight on 17 other teams who let this kid slip.
