Kingy doesn’t strike me as the sending a message type of coach. Especially if dropping Riv is sending a message to Spaz which is what some folks on here are suggesting.

This seems quite sudden. I’ve got a feeling there’s more to it than Riv being dropped based on recent form. Maybe they’re resting his ankle or something. We don’t know. Edit: I just read Danny Z’s post which referenced Riv’s knee. This makes me more confident that this is the basis on which the decision was made.

We have a bunch of new signs and handheld banners made specifically for this match. The one that says TMAX500 is my fave because it acknowledges both of them and I hope to get my paws on that one. But no one will know who’s who in the first few rows of our bay since the club has decided that a couple of hundred Maxy lookalikes will be quite the spectacle… and it will! Hashtag the things one does for one’s club PS: goodbye dignity 😁

It recognises both players in equal measure, with one exception being a small symbol beside Max’s head, and a stylised form of headwear on Max’s head. Not much wording because the graphics are massive. They share the same side of the banner which is how they’d want it.

Yes and it’s not date-specific either. The merch related to this milestone doesn’t have a “use-by” date, so to speak. Sure, they don’t know how much merch will be sold, but even a modest supply should be available now. And if they did over-order, they can do what they always do, ie. sell it at discounted prices until the supply is exhausted. Example: I was in the Demon Shop about a week ago and I saw a Narrm t-shirt that was $45 at the time we first played as Narrm. I got it for $5!
