  1. Had it been Max Heath I would’ve said Moooooose.
  2. They’re in their Amazing Race teams so I expect we’ll be seeing part two once it’s filmed. Part one is on the website and it’s a great watch. Actually there’s been a little change to the teams. The rehabbers with foot or leg issues have formed a separate group and they’re walking around the Tan instead of running. Once they’re all back at the marquee they’ll grab their stuff and begin their three weeks off. Three well-deserved weeks off. Richo and Paul G on the other hand. They get Xmas day and New Year’s Day off. And that’s it.
  3. Lamond, Jarrod Gatt and Toby Sinnema are the Casey boys here today.
  4. Out on the other oval are Max, Langers, Disco, Melky and the Bison are with Keith the trainer doing a wrestling drill. One player lies on his back with another player lying on top of him. Keith yells out Go! and the player underneath has to throw the other guy off. Melky pinned Max down successfully and kept him down. Max was not happy Jan. 😁 Now these same players are practicing grappling one-on-one in a marking contest. Very serious stuff. It’s like they’re being instructed to grapple hard but without running a risk of giving away a free.
  5. @BC_1718_DC you asked about Tom Hawkins and I just spoke with Paul Guerra. It’s still something we’re hoping will come to fruition and we’re confident it will eventuate. Tom needs time to settle in and while he hasn’t committed, he’s interested in taking on the role.
  6. The vibe is great! Everyone: players, coaches and trainers are happy about today because immediately after this session they’re on holidays. 🥳 But… Jadams just told me they’ve been told this session will be gruelling. Absolutely brutal. Regular sessions are brutal so if Kingy has said it’s gonna be brutal… it’s gonna be apocalyptic. There are some Casey boys here as well as a couple of umpires so a match is on the cards. There’s a lovely Casey boy named Jarrod Gatt. I’m sure @Whispering_Jack knows all about this kid.
  7. Well, we are her family, right? 🤗
  8. The word amongst our W devotees is that Matt Brewer (former VFLW coach) is a good chance. At the VFL/VFLW B&F he said he wants to move on to something “bigger.” But then at the MFCW B&F rumours were swirling around about BBB having been approached. The general vibe is that it won’t be Shae.
  9. I don’t know if it was said publicly but a friend of mine was there tonight and he told me he had a conversation with Paul Guerra privately during which Paul said training at Waverley is off the table and that training will be at Gosch’s and Casey until such time as Caulfield is up and running.
  10. No, and won’t be for a while yet. Strap yourself in bubsie, it’s gonna be a loooong ride. 😝
  11. And that’s exactly what I wanna hear 😅 Big Bash is a form of entertainment disguised as a game of cricket. 20 overs a side and if delayed by inclement weather it can be as few as five overs a side. Loud music peppers the play; not just in between overs but in between deliveries. There’s fireworks going off regularly and extremely annoying rev-up guys on the mic. It’s designed for folks with the attention span of a moth 😁 It’s just not cricket (literally)
  12. And by cricket pray tell you mean the third Test and not Big Bash. Coz if it’s Big Bash then we can’t be friends. Not that we even are friends but you know what I mean
  13. Is it 7:40pm where you currently are? If so, coffee is an unwise choice. Caffeine has a half-life of 6-7 hours. You’re welcome 😃
  14. I laugh emojied this post but on the inside a part of me died. 😭
  15. Wasn’t referring to you, Somereset.
  16. Jack was never going anywhere. His manager just had people believe there was a possibility of him leaving.
  17. Awesome news! Our lovable little ranga has committed to the Dees and no one else will get their grubby mitts on him 🤗
  18. Unlike Deeves, @Redleg , you weren’t labelled as delusional, despite expressing similar sentiments. Seems some folks on here still play the man, not the ball.
  19. I thought it was because Jack’s manager wanted to secure a great deal for Jack (as well as for himself) and did so by leading everyone to believe that there was a chance Jack may go to North.
  20. Yes but my training report has a different title. It’s called Mission Possible.
  21. The Tmac fam attends training often because Lmac (Leo) insists on being there. He loves watching his dad. A while ago I mentioned on here about when I asked Leo who his favourite player is and he said, “Tom McDonald, number 25, Melbourne Football Club.” So formal 🥹 Well there’s been a change. Yesterday Tmac’s partner Ruby told Leo to “Tell Ghosty who your favourite player is.” Turns out Leo’s favourite player is, as he put it, “number 32” (not so formal). Reason being, when Spaz is at theirs for dinner he reads bedtime stories to Leo. When you’re 4yo that’ll do it 😁 According to Spaz though, they’re not bedtime stories; Leo has a book called Where’s Bluey? similar to Where’s Wally? and this is Leo’s book of choice because “he’s all across it, he finds Bluey before I do, he kicks my @rse every time.” 😅
  22. Yes, David Stiff is our new psych. Not sure if you’re joking but Matty Scarlett would’ve researched and done his homework before accepting the position with us. He’d be a fool not to have. As @Go Ds said, he volunteered his opinion. I didn’t ask him any questions, I just thanked him for accepting the gig and he was resolute in his reasons for doing so.
  23. My mission should I accept it (and I will) is to find the answer to your question. 😁
  24. Much ado about nothing right here. GWS parodying the Mitch Cleary thing is GWS doing GWS things. I can’t see why Melbourne supporters are offended by Clarrie’s comment. He no longer plays for us. PS: today Salo said he and Fritta and Langers along with several others are still close friends with Clarrie and keep in regular contact with him. Salo said there’s no feeling of bad blood against Clarrie amongst the playing group. I reckon supporters should maybe keep this in mind when slow (no) news days result in silly articles such as the one above. IN MY EVER SO HUMBLE OPINION.
  25. A “mishap” is quite a broad term, isn’t it.
